I was 22 when I got married and we went to Lake Louise in the first year of our marriage. The Rockies are simply incredible. We don’t have ‘mountains’ like that in the UK. 🙂 We are now 42 yrs in and look forward to many more. Not difficult to support someone as nice and hard working as you. 👏👏😀

You and your wife are standing in my birthplace of Alberta, Canada.🍁 What an intriguing backstory of your life. You’ve experienced a great deal losing your father so young. It necessitates young ones to grow up faster and more responsible sooner rather than later. It explains your work ethic. Yours is a similar story to my own father who lost his mother at 10 yrs of age. He had two brothers and two sisters, making it 5 children his dad was having to raise alone on the old farm his great grandfather homesteaded. Interestingly, that farm is only about 4.5 hours from where you were at. Banff in my opinion, is amongst some of the most beautiful places on earth. What a wonderful place to celebrate 20 years with the woman you love, Congratulations! 🍾 My last visit was 21 yrs ago. I had the privilege of seeing the old farmstead again. It would be a wonderful thing to celebrate my anniversary this year in Banff, however the chances of that are beyond remote. Likely we’ll be popping the cork here at home, with all 52 candles on the cake. 😂 Love your channel. It’s amazing how every time I talk to the screen, you seem to answer back, “Bet you thought I was gonna forget that!” and then you get it. 😆🤣😂

Happy Anniversary! I was fortunate that Mom and Dad taught us four kids a good work ethic. Dad grew up during the Depression and lost his Dad at a very young age. Both of my parents knew lean times and had to work hard to support the family. I co-own a cleaning business and enjoy watching these videos cleaning up the yard. In the summer I little mow the ditch banks, pick up sticks, and do the trimming. Hubby mows our huge yard with the zero turn mower.

You made a wonderful choice in going to Lake Louise to celebrate your anniversary. It's one of my favorite places to visit from neighboring BC. I always do the walk from the chateau to the far end of the lake and rent a canoe to do the same. Best wishes to you and your family.

We also have 4 kids… 3 girls and one boy. They are all grown and living their lives now. When I first found your channel I knew it would be good because you are in Michigan! My husband and I grew up in Rockford, Michigan (north of Grand Rapids). My heart is in Michigan. One day we hope to retire in Michigan. My father died when I was 14 and our baby sister was 6 months. There is 6 of us, me being the oldest, I know about hard work, we learned it just like you have. Our mother was handicapped, so we lived on survivors benefits. We're all grown now and our Mother is passed away, But we learned to survive, and it made very close to each other, and I'm glad to say we still are. God Bless you and your family.❤❤😊😊

Midlife Stockman!!!! I'm from Dorchester, yeah, Dorchesta. Lol Living in Florida now. My 68 years old bones couldn't take the cold weather anymore, i miss Boston though. Happy 20th anniversary to you and your beautiful wife! God bless you both and your children. I too, married verrry young. I have two wonderful, professional sons, my prideandjoy! (My husband was 19 and experienced, i was almost 17...and stupid! I though i was in love, but it was a bad case of food poisoning or a virus!) Lol. Still, we stayed married for 24 years, moved to Florida , three years later, i divorced him.... no more stomach virus! Lol Take care, have fun, enjoy life with your wife and kids.
