Due to a horrible glitch ending with the recording footage of all six races vanishing for no readily apparent reason, I had to redo all of his races in Arcade mode.
All that means is that he won't make any comments during the race, which is better than playing through the entire game again just to redo these six races.

Hell yeah man. good driving. I am currently playing through this again myself using only a bike, my favorite way to play this game. Makes most of the races really easy if you know what you're doing.

It definitely does. Though, to be fair, the races are already really easy. There's only like one or two that give you a run for your money, and that's because they're the random order races and a result of the way the game engine handles things.

This is true, if only the "draw distance" function in the settings file actually changed anything. I really wish they'd port the rest of this series to PC.

Unlikely to happen, as much as I'd love for it to. But yeah, the biggest issue is how no traffic is rendered far away from the player, resulting in the AI getting a free run throughout the rest of the map, while you get to play dodge with the traffic.

After seeing this guy I can say that I'm also a good driver and yeah I'm a PC player with good control on shift+w... Also, I've played this game for 1 straight year everyday just to remember each and every single street of LA, Paris and Tokyo. I hardly make straight turn without using weight transfer.

Ah well, I've played this game a lot, for this playthrough I recorded each race alone, so I was restarting a fair bit to get a good run captured. I also played it to death on the PS2 when the disk still worked, so I've got past experience as well.

Ps2 version has better lightning and graphics as well offering the name of the character on the top left corner and the map of the track only

- Many people says "Bike is difficult to handle difficult to drive bla bla".. if you master in NOUSAGI like @CMDR Voeckler you can win all the hardest races in MC2. - In first race in Paris it was all pure luck ;) you crashed too much but somehow you win :) - You perfectly dodge the traffic but sometimes there is a tool you must use often.. and it's name is BRAKE ;)

Yeah, that first Paris race is awful! I was dead set on finishing it that night, and that run was around take 200, back to back, with no break, hence all the crashes. Honestly, that race in particular is why I've been putting off redoing these races on my Motorcycle Only Redux. I really haven't felt like buckling down and doing each race with absolutely no wipeouts, especially as my time is limited anymore due to holding down a full time job. One day, though! One day...

I enjoyed making them, so I'm glad others enjoy watching them. Hopefully soon I'll have the time and will to finish these races again with no crashing...

What you're seeing are just the best runs. There are some that were too sloppy for me to be happy with. However, the redux series I wanted to be perfect, and that is where you see a vast improvement. What you don't see are the literal thousands of restarts required...

My game disc was scratched to high heck and the game would play just fine for a few minutes and then the gameplay would start getting very slow

I have the game burned onto an empty dvd r and runs smoothly at a solid 25 fps with certain fps drops to 10 because im using the pal version with spanish and i like it too

Might I ask what is impossible? And yeah, I'm playing on PC with a PS3 controller hooked up with a third party program for key binding. It's insanely hard to make slight turns with keyboard.

When you use a controller with pressure sensitive buttons it allows to drive slowly and to the right stick also controls acceleration too
