This is a romantic comedy set in Paris about a family that goes there because of business, and two young people who are engaged to be married in the fall have experiences there that change their lives. It's about a young man's great love for a city, Paris, and the illusion people have that a life different from theirs would be much better. It stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, Carla Bruni, among others.

My wife and I absolutely love this movie. It's both charming, enlightning, somewhat mind-boggling and somehow keeps you on track evenif there are so many caricatures all over the storyline. 6 stars for sure

This movie has a deep message that everyone of us should think about, we always say that we wish to move to our past and these days aren’t beautiful as old days where the greatest artists lived, but we should live at our present, we should live every single moment of it and feel the maximum amount of pleasure cuz if we moved back we would just wished if we move a bit more back What a movie❤️!

So true! The thing is that when we look back to the past, we only think about the highlights of it, but when we live our lives we don't jump from checkpoint to checkpoint, we go through the entirety of it - all the bland normal moments with a tiny sprinkle of some key events - and hence we end-up thinking that our lives - or the present epoch - are uneventful, when in reality they are just as eventful as any of the greatest phases of history.

This is quite literally the only Wood Allen movie I have and will ever enjoy. There is just something so magical about it, and not just because of the literal time travel magic. Owen Wilson really is the biggest mood ever in this movie. I don't think I have related so much to a character like that.

I love this movie. I found out about it randomly, don't remember how, but for a while then I intended to watch it. And then I finally did, it was great, so charming, and to think about how all these stars lived at the time. I have thought of it just now since, and have come to say, after reading the Great Gatsby it may be one of my favorite movies.

Crazy that this movie is already 10 years old! so enjoyable, saw this with my sister Woody Allen knows his stuff as always the performances are top-class and the scenery is beautiful to behold the premise is familiar but I like that it didnt go the usual route they throw the audience off believing in one thing and then another this film made me feel good about myself, too the past can be the key to knowing your true desires and passions for the future; one generation to another and nothing is ever truly lost not Woody Allen's best but it's a very worthy work of passionate art

It was interesting... it was like night at the museum meets back to future with a slight romance novel lol. I dont know how to word it but it was definitely unique. Definitely not your typical romance plot.

The key question is whether Gil (Owen Wilson) actually does time travel or does he fantasize every night on his own after midnight? From his fantasizing he realizes that no one time period is actually preferable and that he needs to change his life and be honest with himself for his goal, writing a successful novel to be realized.

John Coppola i think he does time travel. Because if you remember, the father hires the detective to follow him and he says that the detective disappeared and we see him in a different time. So I guess he did time travel every night
