Hi YT Friends...Midnight Masquerade Penstemon is one of my favorite flowering perennials for many reasons including, it's foliage, flowers, seed pods, and picturesque flower stalks that can add both beautiful color and amazing contrast to your perennial, flower and garden beds. If you leave it alone, it can also add some amazing winter interest! This specific variety likes full sun, is hardy in zones 3-8 and once established can handle drought conditions. Today, we are going to divide it, transplant it and I'll show you how to harvest seed, discuss pests, and maintain it, although, it needs minimal maintenance.
