Saw them back in 1991 on their Blue Sky Mine tour and OMFG one of the best concerts I ever saw in my life (been to hundreds) Peter Garrett was just ON FIRE all night. Incredible Aussie band !!!!
Best lead singer and band there is...their songs and music are just brilliant, so sorry about Bones, may he rest in peace, a bright star shining in the sky 🌟🎶🎵🌟✨
Well what about The Railway don't come out here no more Bb A Eb and its cold Fm Cdim9 D9 through Nambucca up the coast the grass is greener the girls are sweeter I did all the last ten summers F7^^Bbm~~~
Always liked those ringing acoustic guitars in Dead Heart. The digeridoo really completes it. Audience participation of stage, a rockin crowd, and a little bit of a pscholdelicized version on Burns are Burning...Wow! The only thing missing is their characteristically intense brass section, that gives them their signature sound.
MatthewJay Slimm I made it through University in Ireland with Scream In Blue Live. Wore out more than 1 cassette tape. In Ireland then music from Australia was very rarely played. When I first heard Midnight Oil, Blue Sky Mine. I said this the music and the band i have been looking for all my life.
many a nights were spent burning the '' Midnight OIL !! '' many great bands were responsible for my surviving the tumultuous teen years[ i'm exaggerating a bit !!] but yes can totally relate enjoy M8!!
Ever get that need to hear a specific sound again???? Mine is that one version of "the dead heart" done live in NY unplugged with the didgeridoo ... absolutely excellent... too bad its not available any more .... great band and sound though
does someone knows when the "earth and sun and moon" tour end ? best performances come from shows around july 93 not 94.....did they tour more than a year ?!
