This is my cover of the Allman Brothers classic song Midnight Rider. I am using a Boss RC-600 looper/loop station to build and layer the parts of the song. Hope you enjoy!

Thank you!! That is a Roland Handsonic HPD-20 drum pad. It's not technically a "drum machine," as you still have to play the individual drums, cymbals, etc. on it and loop the pattern. Keyboard is also a Roland. It's a VR-09. Thanks again!

Thank you!! I use a TC-Helicon Voice Live 2. Most songs I only use a single 3rd higher harmony voice. These things are tough to dial in from my experience!!

@@MarcusBoydMusic Thanx for the reply...I'll try a 3rd up on mine. I used to have a Voicelive 3, but I agree with tough to dial in and I wasn't getting out of it what I wanted so went back to individual pedals. Thanx for the tip!

I've seen some of his videos, and he does a great job! I actually got the idea of the HandSonic pad seeing him. It it much nicer than using the keyboard for drums/percussion! Thanks for the comment, amigo! 🙂

does the looper have a count in mode? I don’t like pressing the rec button and jump right away into recording. I would like at least a 4 beat count in

@@Idonttakethisseriously I think you can set it up for a count in if you use the built in rhythm. I'm not sure. I haven't ever used the internal rhythm in mine, since I use the HandSonic. I just mentally count in when I'm getting started.
