Craig Martin As a long time watcher of this series I just gotta say youd be surprised at how many times these videos start with Dave saying fuck you to Brad, whether he is there or not.
It's funny that I originally didn't watch Midnight Screenings because they had Brad's friends in them and I came to see Snob, and now my favorite episodes are Brian+Irving and Brian+Dave. XD
How much do you think Brad would've hated Dave or Brian if they actually interrupted the Wedding ceremony to say some shit like "I BOOKED YOU ON HANNITY!"
I always had a suspicion that Dave and Brian were just a split style singular person with two personalities since I had never seen them at the same place at the same time before. I guess this video proves me wrong.
I already know what Team Snob's general opinion is on this film but if Brad sends 2 other people to the movie, I think we know what the number 1 worst film of 2017 is gonna be. So excited for the end of the year
+Jacob C. Mayer Well yeah, true. But still, I'm gonna guess that this makes the top 3 worst of the year because no matter the reason, any movie on Midnight Screenings that has more than 1 video dedicated to reviewing it usually ends up in the top 3. 2014 was Kirk Cameron Saving Christmas, 2015 was War Room, and 2016 was Hillary's America.
You're one to talk, Dave. That was just sweet revenge from Brad for having to sit through Old Fashioned alone (and you reveling in his pain). Now, you're even.
When I first heard that name I thought he was called Saul, you know, like Saul of Tarsus who persecuted early disciples of Christ until he had a vision, converted and was baptized as Paul the Apostle. I thought it was Saul for the whole Anti-christian, then conversion arc, but IMDB also writes his name Sol. Huh.
You know the movie is really bad when the video starts with them silently glaring at the camera, and if brad is there it's followed by brad laughing while everyone else is still brooding (needless to to say I have watched many of these lol)
For a minute there I forgot there was a previous video of this movie, and thought "Did Dave and Brian make a movie?". That opening line completely reminded me of what this was though.
Brian and Dave have always been some of my favs in the Snob crew, and they're absolutely adorable working off each other. I hope they do more Midnight Screenings together. ❤️
In Kevin Sorbo's defense, he isn't _just_ doing Faith-based films, he is also in the indie fantasy film series Mythica. And, ironically, the subtitle for the most recent film in that series is "The Godslayer" XD
The kid that plays Davey is Ethan Jones. He's not related to Kevin Sorbo in real life. Kevin Sorbo does have three children. Two of which are in the movie, and I think he has a daughter too.
Well I hope this time around Brad has a great "the first day of the rest of his life." To the happy couple, hir hir!!! May they live happily ever after!
Just checked a few upcoming movies on Sorbo's IMDB-list. I am really looking forward to this. One is about a pastor taking on boxing, one about a struggling church community in a crime ridden environment and one about a woman loosing faith during anarchy times.
Someone should go to a Comic Con and chant "Let there be Skrulls" at a Captain Marvel presentation. Maybe they'll (they will) take it to heart and remember it.
I like how people had the idea that they planned to make this app untill someone told them it wouldn't actually work, and went with the text let their be light as a last thought.
I looked up Kevin Sorbo's movies and he's right, there is a lot of obvious religious movies.... except Poison Sky. I think that's a non-religious movie. I could be wrong.
When Kevin Sorbo was a guest at my local Comic-con, I felt like I needed to avoid him, because his recent movies made me think he might be a Christian Extremist and this movie proves that he is.
KarnRulez what I read is “is it weird that I have good taste in movies...and humanity?” And the answer is on what plane of reality would that be weird?
I've only seen clips & YT essays on this movie & I hate it! Any Christian who isn't brainwashed by the hateful, tribal, power-hungry, money-loving, self-centered, right-wing conservative U.S. brand of "Christianity" would hate it. Fortunately, Christians outside the U.S. & many Christians within the U.S. aren't like that. Like the "God is Not Dead" series, this is a propaganda film that inflates the egos of people who think they are Christians based on their political beliefs by reinforcing their prejudices, their persecution complex, & their religious fundamentalism, i.e. their total lack of self-examination or nuanced thinking. Jesus had harsh words to say to people like this in his day, calling them "white-washed tombs" that look good on the outside, but inside are filled w/ dead men's bones. Anybody who actually follows Jesus is going to hate this movie.
After this, I wouldn't be surprised if Dave gave Brad an year's worth of home-free deep-fried pickles for a wedding gift. Ahh, but watching these two have a go at their spoof movie's trashy spoof...so worth it.
Hey, I'd listen to a review where Dave and Brian talk about shitty comics book series. Maybe Midnight Screenings spinoff to think about? Basment Readings?
