Nice review, thanks. The case shape is nice, for sure. The Seiko Recraft is very similar at 39 mm and can be had for $150 US. Granted it does not have the Big Date complication, which really makes this Mido stand out. Obviously the Mido is head and shoulders above the Seiko, but the Recraft offers a similar vibe with the case shape. I haven't pulled the trigger on one, but I may just wait and get that classy Big Date one day.
