I just received the black version of this Mido. The bracelet is exceptional, and the bezel on mine as of Nov of 2023 is 120 click. The reason I like the black is because the day and date window is color matched, where the other colors are not. Beautiful watch . First full day running +3 seconds per day.
I bought one with the money that's already in my bank account. I worked for it. Your comment is exactly why I try to avoid taxes and run everything through my LLC
Thanks for your review. I got one in my collection since May and i have to say, it's a really great watch. You are right about the lume but i don't mind it personally. Yesterday i ordered a Hamilton Regulator Cinema that i found through your Channel. Thank you very much for the good content
Love it and have been looking at it for a while if only it was not soooo shiny. I have a similar bracelet on my IWC and it is the best. And that CE Super Compressor is the bomb.
got this in jan 2020, pros: the ratchet is the best i know by far (in that price), forget the one on the mm300, the bracelet is the most comfy i ever had there is no marks or whatever in summer or when you sweat and also no hairpull, the accuracy is like cosc on mine, the size is perfect for me at 7” and it can also be worn loose, the second band is awesome too and makes it a perfect leisure watch. neg: bezel is very stiff at beginning but loosens up, not much grip on it though, the lume is weak, and it scratches very easily, even i am normal careful with my watches this thing gets scratches anywhere from the screwback to the clasp and case within days of wearing, so you better stop worrying and accept it and enjoy it.
Between the Doxa Sub 200 and this watch, what's up with the Swiss diver lume in this range? I am totally with you on the nicely executed pop of color. Looking forward to the CW video by the way.
@@watchesandcaps2566 lol that’s such a great point. That’s why I decided to just get a g shock. If I wouldn’t wear my other watches for it, I shouldn’t wear anything but a g shock.
@@user-tx4wj7qk4t my comment was from 3 years ago lol that being said, I’m not gonna pay thousands for a watch to have to customize it to my liking. I’ll just buy something I like.
Dear Rob, This Mido is an overall very good diving and dressy watch. Mido has to work on getting better lume, bigger hour arm and ceramic bezel, with better movement to bring this watch to a much higher level. Many Thanks for the quick review.
Low lume is what you want a dress diver. The hour and bezel are like that on purpose to copy the original... The bezel will patina which is a good thing. The movement literally couldn't be better for the money
For sure, everything on it is just about perfect for what they were shooting for... a dress diver. They design it with an ideal case diameter, fantastic bracelet, reliable workhorse movement... then they top it off with horrendous lume. It's the same situation with the Rado Captain Cook. Maybe, I'm spoiled by Seiko but terrible lume on a dive watch is a total deal breaker for me. I just can't get past it, maybe I need therapy. 😉
Every 80-hour movement I have owned were VERY accurate. According to the Swatch Group, ETA uses a laser to help regulate it at the factory because the movement does not have the normal regulator arm. I have had watchmakers refuse to service them but it was very early in the release of these movements and they might not have been familiar with the architecture.
