I loved how you said your style of decorating is your own style and may not match others’ taste but it is your style. I really appreciated hearing that. I dont know much about keeping a youtube chanel, so I was not receiving notifications on comments on my video, and only today I saw all these lovely comments. It brighten my day, seriously! I worked with Sjokz, what a coincidence! My job was to go to league of legends, valorant and wild rift tournaments and take care of the backstage competitive operations (A.K.A make sure the pro players are where they need to be). Sjokz is a really nice person. Working in esports is really fun but it takes over your whole life, so I wouldnt recommend as a career choice long term. I feel like it works for people who are starting out. Worked in esports for 10 years till i quit last year, although i miss it looking back i put a lot of things on hold in my personal life. Now I am on a different job and I am able to do simples things that I couldnt before, such as watercolor classes haha
You make a great point about blank pages! Sometimes I feel so bad leaving a page blank but it does indicate a few things like being busy or not being in the state of mind to journal. Love your pages and how you use it! I am thinking about using the One day One page verus the midori weekly again (was using it for 3 years). This video inspires me!
I used to feel bad about blank pages too, like the whole journal was ruined because I skipped one day, idk why i felt like that like it was "incomplete" then I start to notice a pattern, I wouldnt write when the day was very boring (either too busy with boring work, or just couch potatoing) and I decided the blank page would communicate well enough that actually nothing happened that day hahaha so i became ok with it. But it took me very long to accept that.
The lack of communication is also a type of communication. I love it. I get so anxious when I leave pages blank (and it happens a lot on days when I work long shifts, after a 12 hour shift I don’t have the energy to pick up a pen). Next time it happens I’m going to try to remember what you said and try to feel less guilty about my blank pages. 🫶
Exactly! If you see the blank page in the future you will remember "this day must have been a busy day for me" and you will know exactly what type of day you had without having to write a thing haha
Sry for not replying to your comment sooner, i have not received comment notifications and only today I realised my video had reached a few people which is amazing haha. For Midori 1day a page notebook u need to use the hobonichi 5 year techo covers. On the zipper cover it also fits but its very snug and it can ruin ur cover with time so i do not recomend. I also fit it on the "class"sticker organizer from absent studio, it fits great in there. Currently I keep my midori journal on a natural leather cover from a spanish brand on etsy called Nbuku.
