Nah, he needs the Zone to increase the speed of his release. I don't know who said it but Midorima's release is slower when he is farther away from the 3 point line.
@@michaeldesanta7746 Yes, he needs to take time to aim when it's further. Plus with zone he can increase his drift and speed to get out when marked or even make a solo dunk play, by that he will be unpredictable and a well-round player on the field with OP shoots
man, if midorima have a zone, he literally is the best player and too op. A shoot doesnt require much stamina like for example kagami jump or kise perfect copy. Look at aomine formless shoot? It's too op already without zone. And more so that 3 is better than 2. So I love the author didnt make midorima zone.

they lost cause as i remember they started off with insta catch and shoot 3 after the tipoff but they wanted to play some streetball with fun so they started making plays and more passing etc...

I agree with Midorima. 3Pointers are better, but not just because they're worth 3 points. No one really expects a player to shoot 100% from anywhere in the entire court. In real life, Midorima would be a superstar. Out of all the GoM it would be him who will change basketball the most, just as how Steph Curry is changing the NBA. Sadly, there is no one like our green-haired friend irl. No one will ever be. High accuracy is one thing but a total 100% is stupidly impossible.

Midorima's Zone should give him absurd quick release timings from anywhere on the court, and defense abilities and reaction timings of an Aomine who's borderline serious.

midorima is one of the best shooters in any anime why? he's not like any shooter you will ever see he has the calculations, steadiness, the luck, and the hardships. hardships as in he tries his hardest more than anyone else he has the "perfect sense" to make the ball go in the basket without touching rim. he needs to be "perfect" to be able to do everything he can, is what he says
If they really wanted to show Midorima develop like Kise and Kagami they should have made him a lights out shooter from just the normal 3 point line and as the game extends he goes deeper and deeper but never half court then the next season he can shoot full court

Midorimas 3 pointers are way better than dunks and it isn’t even a contest. Not only does he have a 100% 3 point accuracy which is beyond impressive and astonishing, he can pull up from full court. I don’t care if kagami does a 360 between the legs windmill dunk, to be able to shoot from underneath your own basket at a 100% accuracy is way better and more impressive

Well does he need the zone he can make full court shots just fine lmao. He's the only Miracle who doesn't need it. Maybe for like Kagami jump ability but only Kagami and Akashi have blocked him hes such a snipper on court.
