It’s an odd contrast but a realistic one. Almost all the characters we have seen affiliated with the frenzied flame are suffering, either screaming or clawing out their eyes from sheer pain. However, Midra as well as our character seem to be in a pleasant state of euphoria upon transformation. This is likely because unlike other frenzied flame wielders, they embrace the flame, meanwhile others struggle against it.
@@dylantaylor5829 definitely intentional since death seems to be associated with the sea too, reverting everything to nothingness like an abyss is bound to be relieving after experiencing so much suffering
Imagine how strong we are as a lord of franzy though, we already greatly surpass the demi gods and reach into the realms of gods with our power, that becoming a lord of franzy is a scary time.
He is not a random guy, he is the sage midra. Of course he is not strong as us in the frenzy flame lord finale, but he had the potential to endure pain and suppress the madness for many years
@@gabrielguimaraes1577 to be fair being a sage/mage is pretty much a "random guy" next to our character, we have killed legends, demi gods and even put down full fledged gods, it'd be like compering a heavy weight boxer to prime mike tyson, next to mike many of the prof fighters where just some "random guys".
@@sirsunman7826 still he could endure the madness and pain for years, and we dont even know how many years. Could’ve be decades, centuries, enduring both the pain of having his body pierced by a sword and containing the madness of the frenzy flame at the same time. Probably the pain that the sword caused to him was what keep him sane without giving up. He is everything but not a random guy
if madness worked on bosses and not just human enemies and he didnt have such a small stagger bar he'd be doing a lot better man he's such a cool boss tho favorite in dlc so far
Midra has a very unique advantage in these fights and its that he refuses to dodge, like ever. That sounds bad but it lets him build up tons of stance damage and damage in general.
He was "too weak" in the fact that he became afraid of the frenzied flame and rejected it just short of becoming a lord of Frenzy, then sat for who knows how long with a tree branch sword impaled through his head suppressing it. You rocking up and randomly kicking the snot out of him causes him to finally snap and just give into the frenzy, becoming a true lord of frenzy in the end.
On Midra's note: what do you fellow frenzy enjoyers think of his new incantation? In my humble opinion the best-looking one we got, but cant find a use for it and the buildup is really fast. What are your thoughts?
It's not good. I did the DLC with my frenzy-themed character, and I see no reason to use this over the base game frenzy incantations. It's just far too slow, especially for the DLC.
@Goldenorderoferdtree Crazy to want a unique boss as the final one over a boss we've already fought once? I mean, I am not interested in fighting any of the old bosses in their prime, and I am not interested in having three different versions of their weapon
@Goldenorderoferdtree The soul is his, but the body is sculpted to look like radahn, and the body is mohg. I can agree that it looks better and does fit the lore, but I don't like him being the final boss for the dlc
