1969 Midway "Sea Raider" arcade game restoration. I have around 350 hours total from start to finish. That does not include the hours of research or shopping for supplies etc. I also have two days after that of video editing and filing all repair notes taken during the process. Restored by Bill Heatherly (bheath8295@aol.com). Also you can follow my restorations on Facebook under ARCADE ARTIFACTS by Bill Heatherly.

Used to have one (I recall it was incredibly heavy!) Thanks for taking the time to make the video and for sharing! Great to see how that mech worked. (Pretty ingenious!)

I was surprised how heavy it was. Doesn't look like it would be that heavy. Two of us had a heck of a time getting it off that moving dolly. Thank.

Excellent restoration! I just started to restore mine! However the top glass and plastic in the middle pictures are faded and half damaged. Any idea where can I find a high resolution jpg of both of them so I could reprint them? thank you!

Thank you so much for this video. I just got a Sea Raider. What are the slides of the periscope arm to the selector unit made of and how is it done? Mine are missing and I couldn’t quite tell from your video.

Hey Bill I've been looking at your great videos. I have sea raider it's a great machine! I spent hours to get it all working again but it's been great fun learning how it works. Think I'm going to replace all my caps on sound board. Where did you find the schematics for sound board? I got mine working but explosion sound don't last long enough. Oh how's the Jack rabbit unit going did you figure out the color it was? Curious to see the Niners of that one hope we get to see another video of that? Thanks for sharing your really nice work Bill your a true craftsman!

Thanks Dan. I don't recall where I got the schematic. Send me an email and I will send you a scan of it. I have the colors figured out for the Jack Rabbit but have not done any more work to it yet.
