I replaced the dingy blinds in my modular home with roller shades. They're easier to clean and no slates to get bent or broken.

3rd child I love it. I call my husband my second child lol 😂. I have plastic ones they are horrible I can't clean them like that they break n bend. I took all my blinds off n threw them away and got curtains instead

I use to have metal ones and I would spray them with degreaser, let it sit for 5 min and then pressure wash them. They would be so white and clean

I took my blinds out to my patio and scrubbed them today. I agree bathtub is easier but water get everywhere when it’s time to get them out.

You could have used a pressure washer or just a hose in a bigger brush there are large car brushes you can use So to make it easier instead of kneeling or sitting

We replaced our carpet 2 years ago and I used to use that carpet powder all the time you would be amazed that all that powder stays in the rug and the place that put our new carpet down said that it is not good for the carpet don’t use it

The handful of change on the bedroom floor is a daily here lol it falls out of my husbands back pockets soon as he gets home at night and changes 😂😂

I found myself getting annoyed at all the piles of laundry that I had too, but I was quick to remind myself of a time when I did not have a washer and dryer, at that time I wished to have a set of a washer and dryer so that I could do my big mountain of laundry. So I am so greatful for all the laundry that I have. Lol. Just a thought

Gypsy Girl you keep an imaculate home! Never can see dog hair and you said you have a dog/dogs. My 2 tiny dogs shed so much that I'm embarassed when I haven't vacuumed for a few days or more.

i do cleaning for a living and whenever i deep clean a home (or my own) i use the bathtub to clean the blinds. I just put some hot water and cleaning solution and use a scrub brush❤

I usually clean my blinds in the tub. But I’m for sure gonna take them outside from now on so I can lay them out like that. That makes so much more sense.

You should get one of them 5ft handled soft-bristle brushes to clean those blinds---So you don't have to get down on your hands and knees !!!

For the blinds, I take them down and lay ‘‘em down on the cement hose ‘em, sprinkle with comet, scrub them with a cleaned broom hose ‘em off and hang to dry
