@@DGModelworks Thanks for your ongoing series and Thanks for your honesty in showing what's right w/models and what can be improved. I appreciate how you "keep it real"...
hey Deryk, nice mail call! I agree, Intermountain wheels are top notch. The trees are really nice and look good. I had that issue with the warped roof walk, after the temp and humidity stabilized after a few days, it flattened out. Terry
Eric Hall also mention the temp and humidity thing, but mine was in the house for 4 days before making this video, and so far it hasn't changed. I hope you guys are right, but I'm not holding much hope. LOL
very nice mailcall. I have one of the UP cars but mine was a accurail kit i think. i like tht JTT trees. they do a nice job. thanks for the history lesson on the IHB coil car. Pretty neat man. thanks for sharing. david
@@DGModelworks Your house might be cooler than the factory that the built it in too, if they built it in the summer in a factory that is 88 or above amd your house is in the low 70's. I have the same problem with my cars, during the summer time when the train room is around 88' every thing is perfect, during the winter the train room is around 70' all my roof walks warp like that, next summer as it warms up to the mid 80's they all flatten out.
@IMRROcom well if they assembled it in 88 degree weather, it's never going to straighten out at my house. I can't survive in my house at that temp. AC baby! LOL
Very interesting rolling stock, does that Intermountain 4750 hopper come with coupler screws at the bottom of the car's coupler pockets. Thanks for sharing the info about your purchases- Tom.
I bought one of those coil cars and in my attempt to take the cover off, I broke a handrail. I'll see if I can use your method to get mine off? Cool nice trees!
