MIDYEAR HOMESCHOOL UPDATE 2023-24! CURRICULUM REVIEWS! PRESCHOOL, 1ST GRADE & 9TH GRADE! 

I have 2 9th graders, 2 5th graders, 1 in 2nd, 1 in kinder and a 1.5 year old. You are exactly right. Everyday is different right now.

I know the entire Internet is trying to give you advice when you’re on RU-vid but I will say that I read to my daughter almost exclusively at the table when she’s eating or in bed as her way of trying to “stay up late“ so we have gotten to read (not completely through) lots of books that way, and I feel like it makes me feel better. I’m not on the hook to complete any novel or book that we pick up. Sometimes I’m reading Grims fairytales, and other times we are revisiting a magic treehouse that we never completed. Kitchen table 100% while they’re eating they have to sit still and the only thing they can do is listen.😅
