We had a C3 before. It was good, but heavier than the C2 that we bought 2 years ago. The C2 is also quieter and perfect for my husband’s dust allergy issues. Best vacuum cleaner we have ever had! 😃👍🏼

Hi there- There are a couple different C1's. If you have just hard flooring, no carpeting, please look at the Pure Suction models. The classic is not completely sealed and the compact is completely sealed. If you have area rugs that are low pile, look at the Compact C1 Turbo Team. If you have area rugs that are a little thicker, I would look at the Classic C1 Turbo Team. Again- all the compact models are completely sealed, and the classic body styles are not. The White/Off White/Lotus vac is the Olympus - a true and true classic that gives years and years of use. Suction at max. is way too strong with certain brush heads, I find. I JUST got addition attachments/brush heads to use with my Olympus, instead of buy another for one $400 or a C3 for $800-$1,200.
Hi James! Glad you are still loving your Olympus! That was one of our favorite models- and the classic Miele body style. ;). The difference between air driven or electric powered usually comes down to flooring needs. Users with medium-high or ultra plush carpeting we recommend an electric powered machine. But for low-medium pile carpeting, an air driven model such as your Olympus is the perfect option. So glad you were able to find the attachments you needed for your Olympus. We have found the Miele brand to have the best suction, filtration, and power. The motors are all 1200watts. If you meant something different, can you clarify? Happy to help:)
