The price?

I thought this model was new? How can you be using it for 5 years?

which one did you get? I always thought the siphon system would be a pain for cleaning, but it looks like it is not?

@@gosman949 CM6350, the siphon is very simple and works well. We do the cleaning cycle once a month. We run chocolate milk or creamer through it sometimes, when i run anything with sugar i will run an additional cycle of “hot milk” but just siphon warm water through

We have the CM6350 and the taste of every coffee selection is fantastic. The temperature is perfect and you’re able to customize pretty much everything. If you want to wake up to top cafe quality coffee every morning, I highly recommend Miele

@@gosman949 my previous machine was a Saeco XSmall which was a automatic machine. It made freshly ground coffee, and has a manual frother. The coffee was okay. We eventually had to upgrade due to the fact that the coffee was becoming quite watery and not as aromatic as I would have preferred. The Miele CM6350 was always my dream coffee machine after trying my first cup of latte macchiato from it while abroad. I feel like the grinding system of the Miele is fantastic. It is very aromatic, customizable and just a beautiful experience all in itself. For coffee lovers like myself, this machine is heaven. Even the milk froth for my cappuccinos and latte macchiatos is perfectly made.

@@gosman949 for the price probably not. We bought ours for office use as it is more user friendly than a semi automatic. More likely than not, anytime you have more control over the process (i.e. semi-automatics) youre going to have better results. However, super-automatics are fantastic in certain settings where you dont have the time to pester over the details and just want to spit a few drinks out quick before a meeting. Thats what the premium youre paying is going towards. I use a semi auto at home but love the super automatic at the office.

Yes! Most superautos make americanos - in some cases you need to press the hot water button after the shot button, but the CM5500 does have an americano option built in.

Just adjust the grinder settings towards “fine”. Explanation is at 11:23 in the video.
