The thing about a $6,400 machine is that I expect it to look like a $6,400 machine. It should look like a work of art. This thing looks like it costs $599. For comparison the $1,650 Rocket Apartamento looks like a Ferrari compared to the Miele, which has all the visual appeal of a U-Haul truck.
I just saw this machine a few days ago and have definitely my eyes on it. We own an older Miele model at our company and despite my reservations with their customer service (I am German), I have to see that machine was an amazing surprise. We brew a lot of coffee and not a single time has this machine failed. Not. A. Single. Time. Consistent coffee, no hassle. And as mentioned in the video, never have I ever seen such a complex machine being so easy to clean. It even gives instructions on the display, not need to pull out any manual ever. We own also a professional machine with chocolate, vanilla and milk, but what a hassle and how high maintenance. Not worth it. If you have the money, just buy three of these and throw those powder coffee makers in the trash. If this one is just as the older model, consider me sold just for the fact of easy cleaning...
@@doejon6821 if I recall correctly at the time this comment was made the dollar was nearly at parity with the pound. Even now, eight months later, £2,000 is about $2,582. Your comment doesn’t make sense.
$6000 dollars and you get an old dated small touch screen with 2004 icons? Plastic body and a dispenser that automatically goes up and down that we didn't ask for? The Siemens and Saeco machines are leaps and bounds better with modern touch screens like an iPhone.
I almost bought a Miele, ended up with a Jura z6. I really liked the ease of Miele's milk cleaning, but their water tanks always seem small. I wish they would make the machines taller as it's impossible to get a 16 or 20 ounce travel mug under them. Our previous machine was a Gaggia babila, which had a removable front drip tray, and that was great for tall mugs, but always had to be emptied. I want one of the new Jura machines that do cold brew.
Does this one have grinder settings configured electronically per drink or hopper? Seems like it would be difficult to bounce between multiple beans with a manual grind dial
I own this coffee machine and use it in my condo, I will buy another Miele CM7750 for my office. Here is my *pro tip* Run *hot tap water* in the coffee cup/mug/travel mug and rinse it really well.
