well to be fair we and my parents have Maids they don't take care of the vacuum cleaners and we find out that the vacuum cleaner needs repair as we hear it making a horrible noise when they vacuum or room so basically it's not always the owner it's the maids anyway I feel sorry for that vacuum
I have a few stories about vacuum neglect: Most notable one: I once worked for a rec center, and we had 4 Clean max pro series quick draw vacuums, and a numatic Henry that were frequently used. Cut to the chase, the worst thing I ever found was an exploded bag in the Henry when I went to check it one time plus missing wheels on the turbo brush later held together by duct tape. Not sure why the head of maintenance never bothered to replace the head, but I’m shocked that he would even permit that.
Hi, Love your channel just subscribed. I have 3 Miele Vacuums, two S5's including a S5981 and a S512 which is in my garage. The S512 was trash picked and was in the same or worse state that unit is in. It cleaned up perfectly and I've had it for years now with no problems even though masses of crap went through motors. Mine are all 220v (Australian) and the S5's with 2200w motors are insanely powerful.Cheers.

Oh yeah one more rant I hate bagless vacuum cleaners every time I have the empty one it makes me sick I prefer a bag that I just throw away and don't have to breathe in dust
I hope you charged them a premium for fixing that mess as they clearly don't care about how much things cost. Also, please post a video of the teardown! That poor motor.
