once you acquire the jump spell, you have unlimited gold from then on, all you need is a town portal npc and then you can farm gold endlessly from the chest.. or if you want to do it very fast, 2 Lloyd's beacons between the bank and the room with the chest.
sometimes u can hit that gold well multiple times, but u have to keep running back and forth to the bank and the well between each hundred. It usually lets u hit it multiple times, after u have explored the map awhile.
I made a test by sleeping overnight and deposit at the bank but it didn't work so I concluded that you have to leave NS and return for a one-time charge. The issue may be caused because I play the game on the original CD and nowadays the game shows bugs that I haven't encountered 20+ years ago when playing on a windows95 OS. Will definately test it again, thanks for the info.
yeah its strange tho, that well is probably the most random thing in the game honestly, cus i could go into the abandoned temple or the goblin place and come back out and it could give me the 100 each time, or it won't. Ive been playing this game on the GOG ever since my old computer went kaput and there are glitches from the CD version i don't see on the GOG version. The deck of cards in Paradise Valley was there for me in the CD game but not in the GOG version. Also, ive noticed in the CD version that sometimes Horseshoes will appear when you "have a drink" at the barkeep near the dwarf building in ironfist. and sometimes u don't have to have a drink, when ironfist regenerates sometimes they just appear or they don't. its very interesting. @@blork74
Also, if u get that box when you have 0 gold you can get the entire 10000 from that box, and you don't even need to buy from that black case there, the red case right next to it provides endless food, it makes you sick, but you can fix that with potions. you can get many thousands of food just put something on your space bar and let it go for 15 minutes. lol
