This game is one of my top ten faves. i still remember getting an artifact within the first week at the abandoned temple in the box with the candelabra and was like, holy crap!
That secrets in Temple of the Moon - I never saw them before! Very nice! Also, here's another "secret": New Sorpigal - obelisk's island - if you stand at the campfire (near Abadoned temple) with peasants, in the water is buoy. If you click it, the volcano (obelisk's island) will spread with fire.
All in all, good video. Special thank you for double torch secret at Castle Kriegspire - I didn't know about it. Now, I have a few words to add. Some trivia: - Torch ring from Abandoned Temple of Baa is low- to mid-high-value. Sometimes its Precious Ring with no enchantment, sometimes you can get something like Peral Ring +10 resistance. You may consider reloading a few times to get better stuff. - Armor from the wall in Goblin Watch is low- to mid-value. Its easy to get a good early game armor after a few reloads. - Waterfall at Snergle's Caverns will give you random mid- to high-value item of any variety. You get something mediocre or something realy powerful early on. Reloading is an option. - Death Wand from hanging corpse in Etric's Tomb has 0 (zero) charges. It means if you try to use it, it will simply vanish on attempt. This wand is just for sale. - Flambeux in Warlord's Fortress sometimes can give you Supreme Axe of the Dragon - the very best axe you can find, discarding artifacts and relics. You may consider reloading a few times. - If my memory serves me well, in the Icewind Keep there are two torches in both coridor - one will give you high-value crown and the other will give you high-value helmet. But if you pick one of them, both are disabled. - Effects of the cursed cauldron (and skullpile) in Agar's Lab stacks. Meaning you can get everyone a max intelligence of 255. - I am pretty sure the crates in Superior Temple of Baa were never meant to be a secret. Its not the first dungeon to use crates as chests: Temple of Tsantsa and Lair of the Wolf did that too, and there is 99% of chance player did at least one before coming to Superior Temple of Baa. Things missed: - Cages in Abandoned Temple of Baa - they give some rings, scrolls and miscellaneous low-value loot. - Really obvious hidden room at Corlagon's Estate (maybe too obvious to mention though). - Crates in Supreme Temple of Baa (on Hermit's Isle; not to be confused with Superior in Kriegspire) hide a chest behind them. - Beds in Icewind Keep: some give gold, others - fixed loot of weapons. - Hidden room with Q and some loot in the Temple of the Snake. - Tons of hidden passages in the Lair of the Wolf.
@@blork74 I've never even finished MM6 because as a kid I got carried away by MM7 (both seem to be among the best games of this kind) and then when I finished that one, I was completely captured by the release of online games (Ultima Online still the best of them all) and I'm finally getting back to finishing this game and found this video useful....it just needed the timestamps ;-)
this has been my favorite game since I first played it 25 years ago, and I did not know 2/3 of these! Awesome vid, looks like now I have to do another playthrough :)
Nice compilation! Of course, there are too many secrets in these games to record everything... But I think there's an important one missing: the Permanent Luck secret, on a creepy scuptural wall, very deep down in the Dragoon's Caves in Castle Ironfist.
also i deposit all my gold before going to get the infinite food a the comp place using the fly scroll because you can't get that 10,000 gold from one of those boxes with the large circle on it unless u have 0 gold.
@@henrikljungstrand2036 Yes there is a secret area at the 3 sided building next to a tree and you can just jump regularly and clicking the roof as you jump to get there, you can just use space bar. it may take several tries before you hit the right spot of the roof. and its going to be to roof part facing the NORTH. Once you get there you will want to be SUPER quick because it teleports you to dragon sand and it will put you near dragons, but its completely doable without killing off anyone. I always save it before when im starting anew. that way i can do it without harm and i can get +20 statistics on each character before going into the building for the 10k gold the first time. and you will want to make that part fast too.
Oh man, hidden chests outside the map in the area with giants only reachable with Telekenesis is one, I'd have to sit and play through the game again to remember everything. Kreigspire fountain spawning drakes that u can kill with like 1 or 2 starburts for insane loot and mega EXP
The teleporter in New Sorpigal is reachable without the fly scroll! If you stand in the corner and look up. Iirc you don't even have to jump. Also another "secret" might be that you can return the quest in Hall of the Fire Lord several times as long as you don't exit the dialogue. I say might be, because that happened on my old CD copy of the game, which may very well have been scuffed. I couldn't progress the game after a certain point because the circus never showed up anywhere. That was a long time ago though, I might have been mistaken.
The circus DOES show up, but only in August in Mire of the Damned, not August-November. I think it's just the first month of each trio, but haven't verified. I HAVE been to all three locations in June/July and there was no circus. December in Bootleg Bay, or April in Blackshire. Blackshire might be the easiest to reach quickly with a gate master, but Mire of the Damned is safe if you can wait.
Hi!! Several secrets I already knew but learned about some others with your video (13:18). I just happen to be preparing for another play-trough so your video will be very handy for some planning like I always do in my runs looking for the best way to optimize the time needed to finish the whole game (clearing all areas and leveling skills, not just a speed run)
Thanks for the video, knew all of them, but always nice to have such a compilation, in case we forget any of them on the road over the years. There is also the Kriegspire wells, Frozen Highland wells etc, but everyone knows those. The game is already easy enough but I like to do this when I start a new game time to time: New Game Start - In New Sorpigal, you don't need the fly scroll. When you go to the corner of the building with Dragonsand Teleporter on it's roof (get to the corner on Trainer's North side), and look up to the roof right from the corner, if you click from the right angle you can teleport to Dragonsand Temple of the Gods without a need for a Fly spell or without even jumping. - Get your +20 stats to all your characters, than enter the NWO Dungeon from the Wall as shown on the Video. - In the Dungeon there are: 1. Many secret items (that respawn very often, some of them pretty strong as well, like highest quality Chain mail and highest quality cloaks), 2. A room with infinite potions 3. A chest with infinite gold but you can get a maximum of 10.000 gold at a time (more on this later) 4. Extremely high level cast of a Day of the Gods spell behind **Jon Van Caneghem's** Goblin on his office room. (The room you get fear automatically as you enter) If you go to NWO dungeon, fill your 10k gold from the chest, and get out of the dungeon (save before going out) you get back to Dragonsand with 100+ Dragons around you, but just on the "left wing wall outside" of the Temple of the Gods if you click on another wall, you teleport back to New Sorpigal. When you get back to New Sorpigal, just put 10k gold in the Bank, and repeat the process over and over and over again. You can have as much gold as you want this way. You can also use the Day of the Gods spell from this Dungeon before going to any other dungeon (once you have Town Portal and/or Lloyd's Beacon), since its cast is as strong as 20-25 skill in Light Magic.

@@blork74 my start up tip, reduce luck of all characters. The well to the north west, by the bridge, will bring your luck up 2 at a time until 15. I think it has 6 charges, but if you go to iron first or another city, i believe it resets. I don't grab the dragon sand starts until I've done that. I also use the black potion that reduces luck to eek out a little more.
@@blork74lots of wells has +stats to more then 15+. I like reduce all stats exept speed on mages and vitality on all. You can easy get 16-17 all stats then +20 from dragon temple = 36 all stats
You don't have to cast Fly to get to Air Expert. You can go underneath and look up, and at a certain angle, the floor will clip and you can see through and click on the door. More of a glitch than a secret though
I don't know if it's a glitch with my version (on GoG), but I just discovered that if I use a scroll by clicking on the equipment model of any character, then targeting like normal, the scroll goes back in the inventory. Unlimited scrolls (at least ones that target individuals).
Let me share a bug rather than hidden secret. Any guild teaches certain skill to character of certain occupations. However if you keep clicking after learnt all skills, you can actually get your characters the skills that they should never be able to master. E.g. plate armour for sorcerers and clerics.
i diddent know somebody allready mention this bug:)it only work for armor and weapon skills,but only a certain version,i had this version when i was younger,i cant remember what version it was,this version i am playing now dosent work.
It doesn't get you any items, but what about making the Volcano in New Sorpigal erupt by touching the beacon on the peninsula that overlooks it (where all of the random villagers are chilling)
@@blork74 yeah I found that one out as a kid, hah. Is the same volcano that has the obelisk in it. Just find that little peninsula near the abandoned temple with the villagers and interact with the buoy floating in the water. Hold the interact button for fun times!
Thank you, especially for the hint of +25 perm fire resist in Garik's Forge. I'm just fighting the Fire Elementals there and it is tough. Questions about the cauldron and pile of skulls that give +50 INT in Agar's Laboratory - do you have to be cursed before touching the cauldron or not? Does it kill the second person or only those who are not cursed?
You guys all know about fighting Q in that temple with the medusas? Tough to kill, but he gives you a horn that lets you see how many hit points enemies have. Also Lurch. Also th infinite spell replenishment fountain in Bootleg Bay that you gotta have permanently on Lloyd's Beacon. Great game. Great play. Awful graphics but loaded for hundreds of hours of enjoyment on the cheap.
Q is in fact easy to defeat, jsut stand near a corner so his spell can't hit you. and about the graphics they are indeed afwul, but back in the day were pretty good.
Unsure why but the two Agar's Lab secrets at 13:17 don't seem to work for me. I'm playing via the GOG website download and not an original MM6 game disk, could that be why ?
Maybe you guys know,but i had a version of mm6 for many years ago,when i learned weapons for my classes i just keep clicking and i could learn all weapons on all classes,so i ended up with sword and spear on all 4,sry my english.
I had that version too. And I also had a version where the magic scrolls didn't run out. The version where after revealing the obelisks I got 250k gold every time I opened the chest. And in that version, after completing the task in the Hall of the Fire Lord, I could collect infinite XP by clicking on the quest. Now I read that these bugs were in version 1.0. Patch 1.1 fixed all these bugs.
I've been trying to find new ways to play this game to keep it interesting. I've played it so many times, I've tried different party composition, such as all mage party, I thought about doing all thief party but it's kinda dull way to play the game I think. Any challenging ideas for my next playthrough?
@@blork74 That's kind of the beauty of it, it's not really a 'challenge run' since you're still putting your points into other skills, you're just not doing those two, specifically. So at no point in the run can you say you're underpowered, you just also aren't using broken stuff.
How do finde them all? Click on every pixel in the whole game. I like the "obvious" ones but some secerets like yeah gold in that torch should be fun is kinda stupid and funny at the same time.
Usually Window 10 solves compatibility issues by itself, if not then navigate in windows explorer to the exec file of the game and in the context menu you can chose 'compatibility'. What also helps is running the game as administrator.
