I loved this show. "Pain is an illusion...an illusion that really hurts." "That's my clone dinosaur attack alarm." "You have an alarm for that?" Some brilliant writing that was funny but didn't resort to toilet humor and didn't talk down to it's target audience. On the surface it looked like a Ninja Turtles clone, but it had the depth and intelligence of the Gargoyles series and a fairly interesting and unique storyline.
I remember when I was a kid and then every time the Mighty Ducks intro comes on I sing along to it mumbling and dancing around and my parents wouldn't understand what I was doing. Good times. :)
I LOVED THIS SHOW!!!!! this was one of my favorites! youtube is really bringing back memories with all these old intros. when i am older im getting blockbuster and renting the dvds and all that for my fave 90s shows =D
I remember the old Disney series back in the 90's when I was a kid,yes I do enjoyed these series like The Gummie Bears, Tales Spin, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, The Wuzzles,Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin , Hercules, Timon and Pumba, Gargoyles, Might Ducks,House of Mouse, American Dragon Jake Long and Kim Possible. It's a shame they're not on TV anymore but at least they're on Complete DVD collections to keep the memories alive. But I still wished that The Wuzzles , The Little Mermaid, Aladdin , Hercules, Timon and Pumba, Gargoyles, Might Ducks, House of Mouse, American Dragon Jake Long and Kim Possible were finally on complete DVD collection at last as they're the only ones that weren't on Complete DVD released🤞.
This was a bizarre concept, but you've gotta admit, the opening was badass. And I love the hell out of Grin and Mallory. Nosedive is WAY to Spicoli/Michelangelo for my tastes.
Ikr, taking off the nostalgia goggle this show was just odd. Entertaining sure but really odd and most of plots where weak but as a kid you wouldn't really care. guessi shows how taste change as we grow.
After all these years, this opening still gets me excited to see a bunch of anthropamorphic ducks fight aliens to save the world. That right there id the definition of awesome.
marplatense31 Because Disney has been releasing a lot of DVDs of some of their cartoons from the late 80s to mid 90s. Mighty Ducks the show only had a VHS release for the first three episodes so sometime in the near future, Disney will have to release all 13 episodes on DVD for $15.
BenTanner92 And "us" means.... 2 or 3 people? Trust me, there's a reason why it wasn't released on DVD... and why the Disney Afternoon died after this show.
0:48 Wraith's voice is exactly like that of Shere Khan from TaleSpin (besides both being played by Tony Jay)! And he is one of the evildoers in this series
wow... just watching this made me remember like the whole series, but I honestly didn't expect that little green dude dancing like that XD it totally cracked me up lol I love this. Mighty Ducks, DBZ, Mummies Alive, Gargoyles, this is the shit I grew up on. :) I feel bad for kids these days. They missed all the rockin' shit.
I kind of disliked this thing when I first saw it--and that was when it first came out. I simultaneously enjoyed and despised it. It was kind of a really great fun show--and at the same time, really terrible, routine, dumb and warmed-over. Go figure...
I miss this show so much! D: Nosedive and Mallory were always my fave!!! :D And so was Duke. Why do the shows suck nowadays? D: The late 80s and all of the 90s need to come back!
One of those shows that you would think would fail, but was simply too awesome. I like how their entire alien culture is based around hockey. Like...space Canadians!!
Some people take his opinion way to seriously. Whatever he says is law apperently. I still like his work even though i don't agree with certain things he says.
Humanoidfreak He's an old youtuber who's managed to survive RU-vid's rules since day one, like any and all celebrities that old most take their word as law. Thankfully, I'm a bit above such concerns like that. XP
The greatest thing in life is associating a rock/metal song in a cartoon! Priceless. God bless those who came up with this idea. I can live for another 100 years now.
Man, I'm almost 20. I could almost cry, I watched this all the time when I was little, I based lego ships around their flying craft. And I can still recite most of their names off the top of my head and this is the first time I've seen so much as a pictures in more than 5 years. Man. It's like the greats are forgotten, or is it us wanting a bit of the past back for ourselves?
KICKASS THEME!!! I used to love this show as a kid! Wildwing was so badass as the leader. I remember he used to sound a lot like Steve Sanders from Beverly Hills, 90210.
God i remeber watching this on toon Disney years ago, the bad thing was that it was on late at night and i didn't have the DVR at the time. Good news it was summer vaction so i could stay up late and watch it. Long live the 90's!!!
This was one of my all time favorite shows when I was a kid!! This song always got me pumped up! I've always thought that the guy that played Nosedive was the one that was singing the theme song for some reason. It seemed to fit the rebellious teen image of his.
I haven't see this show or heard the song in YEARS and I started singing it at work last night. Everyone looked at me like I was stupid. But I felt proud to still know the words!
my little brother used to watch this show all the time when he was little, and it was on TV a lot, I used to watch it too. These old cartoons bring back memories..
huugh! this show bring back memories ever night at my aunts house watching it for a full hour!!! that was the life!!! F*** Dora THIS SHIT ROCKS!!!! Wildwing,Tanya,Grin,Nosedive,Malorie, and Duke DUCKS ROCK!!!
The Mighty Ducks is a relic of the past where cartoons were more entertaining and funny unlike the shows that are on the air nowadays. I cherish old classics like this in my heart so I never forget the childhood I enjoyed while watching these shows. Never forget people.........NEVER FORGET
I just want to cry...er, no...break down and sob and I mean SOB! I absolutely adored this show! These ducks were my heroes. Nosedive was my favorite. I had such a crush on him.
In my opinion, aside from the Transformers, Mainframe, DC & Marvel cartoons (& a couple others), Disney shows were the best. With a couple exceptions, I loved all of them. Aside from this, my favorites were Gummi Bears, Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers, Aladdin & of course Gargoyles, but all the ones I still watch are at least great. Now... I'm not even going to waste any words on what you already know. Back to the topic, this was the most underrated Disney show aside from Aladdin.
yeah me too i was thinking about all the shows i use to watch and this one was like the last one i thought about, but back then it was my favorite show =D.
How many of us remember going rollerblading after watching some mighty ducks?? We'd always go around the apartments skating like them! Those were the days..
