Oh I bet you’re right! I gotta say I am still using this crazy thing. It really does an awesome job on cast iron and stuck on bits on sheet pans when I roast veggies. I hadn’t thought about bringing it with us next time for camping clean up. Thanks for the tip!

I've ordered from Plant Therapy before...there is a facebook group dedicated to the brand (which is a very good brand) who are super super careful and do everything they can to promote safe use of oils.

Oh cool, thanks! Do you have a favorite oil or blend from the brand that you would recommend?

@@TheCrunchyGinger I love tea tree oil and lemon (not together)...I haven't found a ton of oils that do anything for me or don't cause headaches for me (I get migraines from most scents...even the oils that are meant to prevent them). I have two dogs and my youngest is 10, so I've always been super careful about what we've used in the house. I was making my own counter cleaner (quartz counters) and adding the oils to the rubbing alcohol/water/dish soap blend (it was just a couple drops of soap). I tried some of their kids safe blends (Calming the Child and Nighty Night) but I think my daughter's ADHD was too strong to allow either of them to work...but many people said it helped their children. I don't really use the oils as of right now because I switched to Force of Nature for cleaning...I can use it on my counters, tables, stove top, shower, etc. So I haven't needed the oils. But the dish soap bar you've been talking about has definitely gotten my attention as I love the scent of lemon. :) When it's time to buy more dish soap for us (we don't use it often as we use our dishwasher with Dropps), I think I'm going to try it!

Thanks for all this great info! You’re right to be cautious with kids and pets. I think folks sometimes forget about how oils might affect their fur babies, too. I have used a counter top cleaner like that too when we lived in a place with granite counters. It was great! (Plus, I discovered that it was an amazing spider killer 🙈. The alcohol almost instantly zaps them.) I hope you like the dish soap!

I just ran across this video. I love plant therapy products. I use the grow ease roll on for one kid that gets growing pains. The kid safe rollers are all great!

Oh good to know! Thank you. I am thinking about trying a few more. I really like this germ defender one - I diffused it today actually. And sometimes I add it to my diy castile hand soap. I love that they have kid-safe blends.

How did it do on your cast iron?

It works great!! I gotta say this is definitely not something I probably would have ordered on my own, but I use it frequently. It’s great for scrubbing off stuck on cheese and bits from the cast iron skillet and I also use it for getting off bits or roasted veggies from my sheet pans. The package came with 2 scrubbers and I am still using the first one now in January. So they hold up well. I would recommend giving it a shot!
