Murugesan Balamurali, 28, was a champion bodybuilder back in his hometown in India. When he arrived in Singapore for work, he was determined to pursue his passion while spreading health and fitness awareness to his fellow migrant workers.

I think the biggest challenge for them might be nutrition and rest. They don't get the best nutrition or have as much disposable income to splurge on costly supplements. Plus where others can skip a gym day, they are still physically taxed by their day to day work. The perseverance is admirable and inspiring in comparison to the many of us that hit the gym half heartedly lol

People in the fitness scene, like gym owners and trainers, should reach out to him and his friends and support them with their resources, it will be a win for everybody, and will be something Singapore can be proud of.
