This is the EBMM StingRay EX. These basses were made and sold only in Japan. They came with hardware and electronics that were made in the USA. Just a cool bass.
a friend i know was employed at ernie ball in the late 90s i do know they sent everything out there meaning hardware they put them together THEY ARE JUST AS GOOD AS USA and you can pick them up cheaper
Nice sounding Stingray.. i`ve got a very early `77 Natural..(76neck- Feb 77 Body) so not an EB, but your`s had nice bottom end and crisp highs.. and the black/maple is a classic look. don`t mod it.. they dont need it really ... also i just curious of the weight ? mine is ash body .. a touch heavy at 4.8kgs.. but its a killer Stingray sound ...
