At this point any Mikayla fans who stuck around are just doing this to themselves 😭 This is what? Her 10th scandal being purposely misleading with sponsorships? And they’re still shocked?
@@shailynbrown4110 again. She’s acting like she couldn’t afford to pay herself to go to Korea when we all know she can go wherever whenever she wants lmao
@heartandseoul1299 I'm aware of that. But it was a brand trip. Rael paid for her and her hubby to go. She could very well pay for a trip to Seoul. But anyone would jump at the opportunity to have an all expenses paid vacation.
Probably because she’s so happy that she doesn’t have to pay for a vacation. She gets to be rich and get stuff free. She is incredibly greedy. Look at all the pr she devours. She could have paid for her wedding herself but she branded it to avoid spending more of her own money.
Why is she crying over a trip to South Korea? I don't get it. Does she not know she can book her own first-class ticket? And book her own fancy hotel? What is the cause of those tears? I can't imagine crying like that over a trip when you have the means
At this point I’d be MORE surprised if Mikayla wasn’t in some sort of controversy or drama. I don’t know why people continue to endorse her, she’s so dishonest!
@@wendysmith2905 yes!! One of her last Tik toks they go to a Korean skin place and they evaluate him and put him on accutane! So the fact that she says “in case you haven’t noticed my husband no longer has acne” …the lie detector test says…THATS A LIE
Back in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020, people got cancelled for less (not referring to the top major problematic influencers). But it seems like, Mikayla can and does get away with everything.
@@LameosaurusRex Yes, I know but I'm saying, for instance - Laura Lee always had a huge fan following (which I also never got because her makeup skills her not good at all; plain at best), yet she lost followers, credibility, admiration, and was dragged through the mud with parody videos and what not once her fake-crying apology video came out. Here, Mikayla is doing illegal sh*t constantly and yet brands keep giving her PR and free trips, that artists who are a lot more talented, honest, and transparent could benefit from and DESERVE..... unlike her and her millions of dollars, considering she can actually pay for the PR products and the trips herself no problem 😒😒😒
Mikayla in trouble??? I am so shocked rn I never thought I would see her name as one of the title of your videos she is so down to earth I never imagined her being in trouble… 😒
its actually infuriating the FTC doesn't allow you to file a complaint against these influencers ourselves otherwise Mikayla and Jacklyn would have been toast by now.
She had so much potential to be a good influence, but now I can’t even stand to hear her voice anymore. Money and fame really does things to people huh
It's not surprising, the moment money is involved your opinions stop being genuine and become your job's strategies to sell. It happens to everyone, more to the greedier, less to the more honest.
These brands need to be kept accountable too. It’s not just the influencers- it’s also the brands that let them break the rules. At this point, brands are KNOWINGLY partnering with people like her.
So Rael sends Mikayla and her husband Cory to Korea for a brand trip because Rael is what cleared her skin of acne but it also cleared all Cody’s acne. (Her words) I saw she posted “We got to go to one the most prestige skincare clinics in Korean” well obviously if you watch that video the dermatologist went over Cody’s skincare routine and he ended up getting Accutane so clearly she wasn’t telling the truth. I agree, she took way too many skincare sponsorships and had to post about 8 different skincare brands that CHANGED HER SKIN 🙄 do people really still take her seriously?
Plot twist: Mikayla just gets the hollywood celeb style skincare treatments and never uses the products she shows and "makes her skin so clear". I cannot stand her and I never will bc my god how can she still have a career after all of those scandals and such??
This is an inevitable conclusion and as to why celebrities are locked into one brand only. How on earth can you recommend several brands at the same time? It confuses your audience. It’s a complete scam and encourages young kids to be endless cheap s**t.
*shocked spongebob meme insert* this girl is just a liar... like cancel her already... shes just so... gosh... Thanks Tea Spill for always spilling the tea! 😂❤
Years ago, I stopped taking their advice on products.I see something, but try it myself. If I don't like it, take it back. That's what we use to do b4 these influencers
I’m so sick of these influencers claiming everything fixed their acne. As a 25 year old who only recently developed (adult) acne it has shattered my confidence. The only thing that worked for me was avi laser & fraxel and eventually I have gotten on accutane. No it’s not cheap but you know what else isn’t cheap? Constantly buying all these products these influencers push. Girls please if you have skin problems please go to a professional dermatologist not these influencers ❤
3:38 I’d be REAL freaked out if I walked into a hotel room, and a photo of my friends/family were in it….. even if I was brought to the hotel by a brand
This is absolutely disgusting and needs to stop. There are people who can barely pay their bills, live paycheck to paycheck and these "influencers" have gotten famous and rich for doing nothing more than applying makeup. So disgusting and wasteful. This whole influencer and brand trip bulls*t needs to stop!
I’m so sick of her falsely promoting products because she’s a sell out🙄🤦♀️it’s very clear that she CAN NOT be trusted with her product reviews anymore PERIOD! All she’s doing is shoving products down her viewers throats because she’s getting a huge paycheck. Time to CANCEL MIKAYLA!!👏👏👏
It's so weird how dramatic these influencers are when they get sent to different places when you would think that they can already afford these experiences. It's like they want to be a "relatable creator" for their fans, while also flaunting their luxuries to seem like they are successful.
Again I’m soooo sick of influencer trips! How about just keep your prices affordable and quit giving all these influencers free trips and products. I’m so sick of this. If a brand does this I will never buy anything else from them again.
I have ADHD and i normally can't pay attention to tea spills, but i really enjoy listening to your voice and your clear explaining. Thank you, lots of love❤❤
I can understand trying different products and liking them now and then, but ENTIRELY DIFFERENT ROUTINES in a short amount of time being life changing is wild. I like to try different skincare, but it takes me FOREVER to go through a cleanser and toner.
At this point it’s not even “selling out” being shady is just her brand 🤷🏻♀️ I think brands know about her reputation and they don’t care because for the right price they get access to her audience. Could they go with someone else? Sure. But no one seems to get eyes on them quite like she does and for obvious reasons then brands inadvertently get free advertisements from her drama too. 😮💨
You know that TikTok trend where people start blocking celebs. MN looks like a good place to start. It’s so gross for her to sit there and fake cry about a trip she could easily pay for herself. It’s such weirdo behavior
U know what cleared my skin?! Getting rid of skin care that was causing breakouts , eating healthy food 6 out 7 days a week, and not talking to the pessimistic people in my life 🎉
*_I think it’s easy for us regular ppl to judge & call out sell out. But I know damn well, if I was offered an all paid trip for me +1, and all I had to do was rave about their already reputable product? I’d do it in a heartbeat. Let’s be real._* 😅
Anything you receive for free has to be disclosed, same if you were paid. She will never properly disclose. At this point the sponsorships outweigh the fines
The tears are ridiculous especially with her trying to seem so flabbergasted like omg we got picked 🤦🏻♀️ she knew about it idk why she seemed to be so shocked
Some of her fans are feeling………… deceived by her!?!? The girl who’s constantly lying, and hadn’t said a truthful thing in how long!? * Jim Halpert look into camera *
I had a realization while watching this video. For so many areas of these influencers' lives (owning a home/car, landing a job/deal, buying something expensive), these influencers sign contracts. They're not unaware of what a contract is or i's use is. The FTC or some governing/auditing entity should require that every video an influencer uploads (for the purpose of making money) should be licensed or whatever the word is, & it should be cataloged in an IMDB-sorta database. The way production companies have to disclose & file paperwork/contracts when they create content (a movie/tv show) that will produce revenue, influencers should have to do the same. Yes, that may have to come from tax dollars. Or maybe it could be a tax that is added to cosmetics to help the logistics of this because this would be a billion-dollar operation. But every video that is uploaded & affiliated with a business for the purpose of making money up front or on the back end, it should be filed & logged somehow. This way, if an influencer failed to disclose such a thing, they would be allowed 3 instances to do so throughout their career & then after the third time, they'd be fined & if it were to continue, the fines would increase in amount. We as consumers would be able to report an influencer for unethical business practices & it'd be such an easy way to approach this. Legislature needs to be created to reference these penalties, but it shouldn't be allowed to continue. Just a few thoughts.
