Yes!!! For the longest time I was so hard on myself because I’d do my make up and be proud of it but then catch my reflection in less flattery lighting and just not understand why I couldn’t look as good as all these influencers. But eventually I came to realize that it’s this way for everyone! Everyone has pores, blemishes, acne and no one looks like a porcelain doll in every single moment.

Ridhi Gandhi these scammers are savages during this pandemic! I don’t know what we can do to protect ourselves from it but it’s definitely feeling like I’m on my own I ordered one thing and then I got hit by the color lens “company” Unicoeye, they stole sold and withdrew almost all of my money and then my bank haulted it and I cannot be happier that I have a credit union who don’t play! They where literally a block from the address of the one set I actually got and they where trying to buy over 1000.00 at Walgreens! So I dig deeper they are actually illegally selling SweetLens products and they have no affiliation with them at all so I asked them if they know,they said we never heard of these people, Ill just let the natural course of the law help that out but they are definitely ripping off a lot of people and they are fronted for a lot of companies and they are actually really really scary good at scamming people that they made me get my account changed twice in a week! I have never in life ever had this issue but here we are pandemic scammers act like karmas taking a break!? NOPES. LET ME ADD FOR ALL OF YOU TO BE VERY CAREFUL WITH ONE PARTICULAR ‘COMPANY’ UNICOEYE ,THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT THE Manufactures of the Windsors they sell, As a matter of fact they are selling Lensweet in Lady Lake Products and passing them off as their own hand-painted colored lenses and today I was shipped not the complete order but a box with a card actually the box is a giant card for a one another pair of whatever one in fact I haven’t even got to half of my order the buy three get three no I had to pay for all of that they hacked into my account they use my account against me they tried to rip me off twice within a week so do not buy your lenses from them !!!! I used to have nothing but black clothes when I worked for MAC, I finally started buying some colors again when I started freelancing but I still only wear black when I do makeup jobs.

@@kristinb3093 oh hey babe. So a lot of girl have issues with foundation staying on their noses. Most of the time they can’t get it to stick. So I reached of to Bailey Sarian ( she’s famous for talking murder while doing her makeup. Dark hair lots of tattoos) she told me that using eye primer on your nose before foundation will allow it to stick. Because of the oils on your noses it gets difficult to apply it.
I love how you get muddled whilst talking! I'm an art teacher and whenever I do a demo or just teach something specific I use nonsense words, just because it's what comes out- the first time I taught watercolour painting I wanted to say something really sophisticated and said clean water is *mumble mumble no idea mumojumbo* is happy water! ' 4 years later all I have to say is' just a reminder - clean water... ' and the whole class shouts back' IS HAPPY WATER!!! ' These are 11-16 year olds and they looove it. Xxxx
She is from Massachusetts and from her accent I am thinking Southern MA near Rhode Island.....people in southern MA and RI have an accent very similar to NY/Staten Island :)

I was cakey for so long, even without powder. Until I heard you mention a while back about not layering foundation and concealer under the eyes. My mind was blown!
Robert and James have really made lockdown so bearable for me. I’ve started a skincare journey but I’m also learning so much in regards to makeup and how full coverage everything isn’t going to be best at all times. The concealer technique has changed my face!
I know theres videos out there on how to prep & do base makeup for dry skin but I would love if u did one. You make so much sense you explain things very well & I trust you more than a lot of other makeup people.
I learned to put my setting spray under my foundation from you and I am so much happier with the finish of my makeup not having to powder ( even though I only powder in certain places I still don’t like the look of it because it seems to texturize no matter how little I use or if I use a brush or a sponge or a puff with the press and roll method) and how much better my makeup lasts, I am so thankful I learned that from you

@@veecr4675 when you click on the bell icon, a dropdown pops up and you can choose from 'all' 'personalized' or 'none'. You just have to select 'all' to get, well, all notifications :p sometimes you get them a bit later, but you should still get notifications for every new video post :)
My whole life changed the day I realized I didn’t need powder to make my makeup look good! I was struggling so badly with my makeup breaking up throughout the day regardless of how good it looked upon application and when I discovered an entirely cream based routine, I was so happy with how it looked and wore throughout the day. 😻 never going back!!!

Hey Robert! would you perhaps consider making an in-depth video about the different types of brushes and why they’re structured the way they are? why triangle, why angles, why ones dense and ones fluffy-and what products each is best used with-cream, liquid, powder, etc. It would be amazing to have it all condensed in one reference video 💜
When I stopped using powder (thanks to your videos), it changed my makeup routine absolutely for the better ! My concealer doesn't crease anymore, and my skin looks way more healthy. Keep spreading the word, you are doing a very important job ❤

I think people come to you for your opinion because we like your style and the way you explain application in relation to function. There are stil so many people who know makeup or even have a base of knowledge for makeup and feel like these new techniques are odd and somehow wrong, but can't quite figure out exactly what is wrong with them or why it feels wrong. You have definitely become a MAJOR authority on makeup! 😍💞
I am so glad you mentioned 'stacking' the trimmed part of the lash on top of the end of the lash. If it's carefully positioned a few millimetres from the outer of the edge of the lash it is a complete game changer for downward turned eyes. 🖤

Ive started to hear Roberts voice calmly narrating me through my make up when i get ready now & it is an amazing thing!! It reminds me of when i just passed my driving test & when i was getting to a tricky junction or manoeuvre i could imagine what my driving instructor would have said!
