@@DiamondBodyHealing Actually, no, they'd walk to the area where that pass-through window is, left of the fireplace. They're not walking through the kitchen, and it'd be much easier than walking around or through the living room from the kitchen. The deck seems oriented mostly for outdoor eating and cooking, so a door there seems more convenient. If the deck were just seating and games, I'd say the current door location makes more sense.

I agree- access to the screen room would be better between kitchen and family room, left of the fireplace. Maybe there was some costly structural or mechanical reason they opted not to that was edited out from the full show.
