It's the return of RLM's most popular series, Jeb and Mark Blark Abort! This time, we bring attention to this Halloween-centric movie that was inexplicably released the same weekend as Barbie and Oppenheimer: Cobweb! The movie was doomed to have abysmal box office and nobody knows why it was release when it was, not even Lionsgate!

It’s really a compliment to this movie to have one of Milwaukee’s top 25 serial killers say this is one of his top 25 films of all time.

Question, if they kill as a team the score is divided among them or each kill counts in their personal record? Cause if so just the ones from the Rockford Prowler aka Jay Bauman will put them all easily in the top 10.

@g.sergiusfidenas6650 the kills count towards your own personal record, unless someone provides an assist (i.e. demented cackling to set the mood) then it is split.

"But where do you even advertise anymore?" Good question. The last effective marketing campaign for a horror movie I can think of was for _Smile_ They paid actors to go to events like baseball games, sit behind home plate and smile creepily at the camera. It caught on and generated a lot of buzz for the movie. Anyway, _Cobweb_ sounds like a fun watch

@augustgreig9420
@augustgreig9420 Год назад
Son, you need to graduate to adding water to the resulting powder, heating it with a lighter, drawing it into a syringe, and then injecting it directly into your vein. Otherwise, you are wasting about 90% of it as the excess does not get absorbed by your sinuses but rather runs down the back of your throat where it ends up in your stomach, at which point it is processed normally, including being filtered by the liver. And that's not something you want. There's only a limited amount Mike and Jay you can get, so you definitely don't want 90% of it to go to waste.

the amount of commenters fellating their virtual friends Mark and Susan instead of discussing anything in the video is more disappointing than my son To me Cobweb was solid and entertaining, but it's more a statement on the lower quality bar of films that it stands out than any of its own merits. Cliches executed well should be the standard, with truly amazing movies being capable of delivering both the feeling of those cliches and a wholly new experience while not falling too far into the trappings of either. But hey, at least Cobweb hit the standard of being worth watching.

When I was a 14 year old lad I went with a group of friends to a guy named Stuart "loose bum" Rennie's house. While there someone asked his mother how Stuart got the moniker Loose Bum. She started laughing and told us the tale of how she sent him to boarding school 4 year prior, when Stuart Loose Bum was 15. While he was there he provoked a bunch of the other boys and they sneak attacked him, beat him up and crammed a glass bottle up his rear end. The boys then smashed the bottle with a swift hit to the abdoment with a baseball bat. The damage to Stuart Loose Bums colon and anus was so extensive that he lost the ability to control his bowel movements for quite some time. During that time his mother started calling him loose bum and his peers started following suit. Stuart "Loose Bum" Rennie died of a meth overdose 7 years ago. You can look up his obit. His son is now a fenti addict. 😮 That was an interesting experience. Been thinking a lot about that when watching spooky movies lately

Finally someone who loves this movie as much, actually way more, than I do. One of my top movies of any genre this year. From beautiful direction, the set design, acting and the whimsical score that brings the childhood Halloween vibes. I didn't know much about the movie when I went to the theater. And I walked out totally impressed. This film and the horror film that just came and went called , Birth/Rebirth have been awesome theater experiences this year. Great review guys!

surprisingly the horror stories that creeped me out the most were Neil Gaiman's --- him and hallways man. But the most notable one (besides Coraline and the episode of Doctor Who he wrote) was also the simplest: There's Wolves in the Walls, a children's picture book. It was the kind of horror that rests in your gut for a few days. But yeah, Things in Walls really worked for kid me, even in book form

I do remember DREAM HOUSE, because the movie's director Jim Sheridan (of MY LEFT FOOT and IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER fame) refused to talk about it, when he was a guest of a local film festival in my hometown.

I saw it in a horror night at my local cinema together with that Demeter movie. I felt the ending was a tad too generic but was really interesting in the middle portion of the movie. I might watch it again in the fall tho to see if my thoughts change on it.

I watched COBWEB last night and like this review says it really wasn't too bad. Its not great great but pretty good. Better than a lot of the other mainstream stuff that has come out under the pretense this is real horror. Its got charm. For a long time in the movie I thought everything was in the kid's head but than "IT" comes out of the locked crawl space door.... We get a nice reveal at the end. It was solid. The cast was great. A decent horror movie to watch during the spooky season. Better than Boogyman or The Last Voyage of the Demeter...

I felt the same way about Disney's Haunted House movie. Released right around Barbie/Oppenheimer, not a ton of fan fair, and in late July. They obviously spent a decent amount of money on it, got some decent actors, then just dropped it. It's like they wanted a tax write off or something.
