Comedian Mike Birbiglia, his wife, and his cat take a trip together and meet some parasitic zombie mice.
Nearly 50 actors, singers, dancers, musicians, and comedians joined Ira Glass onstage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Opera House on June 7, 2014, to try some things they'd never tried before. The result? Journalism turned into opera, into plays, into a Broadway musical (by Lin-Manuel Miranda, starring Lindsay Mendez and Anthony Ramos). Comedy from Mike Birbiglia and Saturday Night Live’s Sasheer Zamata. Songs from Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields. Dance from Monica Bill Barnes & Company. This is the first time I’ve seen this dude and I can tell he’s a damn good comedian. Probably a genius comedian. Everything he says has meaning and is part of the entertainment. His delivery is excellent and his timing is too. He doesn’t have a dull moment in his act.

He is one of the best ever. And he doesn't rely on dropping F bombs - he's actually funny, with well crafted stories. Listen to his specials. They are on the edge of wickedly funny and poignantly moving.

Funny, the video I JUST watched right before this one (RU-vid recommended both of these) was the bit about legal weed and the dog. I had to check if I was watching the same video because of that part. I have no idea who did it first and I think probably everyone gets this awful feeling they describe.

Ok, but toxoplasmosis is contagious, if the cat ate the mouse, the cat would be infected and if the cat was infected they could catch it through the cat's feces/cleaning the litter.

Always been a fan of MB. Heard this on an XM comedy channel yesterday while driving and was happy to find the same bit online. It was just as funny the second time around. I played it for my wife and she even got a kick out of it. She has a preference for non-swearing comedians, and Mike B is one of the best at that.

agreed, comedians that tell stories that keep you smiling, laughing with out a swear are not common. Love his style.

Also check out Brian Regan. Phenomenal comedian who does clean, but still amazing observational comedy. Difficult. And worse, there's a really easy way to do observational comedy but he doesn't go that route. Stupid In School is a great sample of what he does.

Not that funny. I didn't laugh once. Why did the audience go crazy over "Mouseachusetts?" That wasn't funny at all. It's like they had a sign that told them to laugh and clap. Sorry, I didn't enjoy any of this.
