Nice , unfortunately fly tiers don’t have the patience to let our materials sit around to get faded. But I do like the idea of of foam pad on the dashboard with tied flys getting faded . Thanks for sharing.
Nice quick video on approaching summer fishing. Could you clarify the leader/t8/floating/sink tip combination? I was trying to follow mentally and it sounds like you suggest putting a floating tip below t8, which I don't understand. And how doe that interact with fly size? I typically think floating and longer tippet is usually a better combo for surface/sub surface drifts. Thanks for clarifying. I'm always trying to understand the details with this new form on fishing.
Hi so to clarify our d2 tips are 8ft in total length. we make 3 different combos in t-8 and the same versions in a lighter t-6 they are a full 8ft sink version a 2ft float with 6ft sink version and a 4ft float and 4ft sink version. floating part always goes to head of line with the sink tip part to leader. here is the link to the d2 t-8 tips. pureskagit.com/products/micro-skagit-d2-tip-t-8
