Check out the song “Breakdown “ from they’re last tour Tom Petty sings this song in this particular performance from the depths of his soul while Mike Campbell is standing right next to Tom Petty on Tom Petty’s right side and Mike Campbell is playing his guitar licks word for word with Tom Pettys vocals. You can almost literally hear words coming out of Mikes beautiful red guitar! It’s a wild and beautiful thing! ✌️

I was wondering if anyone else recognized that intro. You must have spent some time listening to Electric Ladyland, as I did.

My sister loved Steven Stills. And Tom Petty. I figured it out later thanks to her. She had great taste in music. I probably wouldn’t of caught on to the Dirty Knobs in it wasn’t for her influence. I knew this band was special....................................

Bummed out because I got my daughter and I 5'th row seats to see Nickelback (how about that for some musical range, from the Dead to Petty to Nickelback) and I was looking forward to dancing with my girl for 2 hours at the stage! Next year, assuming I'll still be rockin! Oh, and if anyone has something bad to say about Nickelback, it's good old fun time party music. No depth, no meaning, just rock and roll. Check out the song Rockstar and tell me you don't want to drive your car fast with the roof open and the sun glasses on! :)

sejrec56 I agree but it's no wonder because Stills walked into a disorganised mess. There were some good moments but the structure was not there.
