For your information... she was a lot more than just beautiful; intelligent, outgoing, great laugh, good sense of humor, she behaved like the girl next door, when the other two looked like two Barbie constantly looking for a mirror to admire their looks.
I've seen multiple interviews across the span of probably 15 years where she talked about wanting to be married and have two kids, so it must have been a genuine dream for her. None of her three marriages worked out (apparently she meant it when she said she wasn't going to live with anyone without being married again), but she did adopt a baby in the mid-90s. I'm glad she got to experience being a mom at least.

I remember a clip that used to be posted here where Kate talked about how she and Cheryl Ladd did not get alone. Shows what a tremendous actress she was/is ... you never would have know it be wathing them together on screen.
Rewatching Charlie’s Angels and Kate Jackson’s character, Sabrina was the best, smartest and funniest. To be such a straight laced character some of the things she did undercover were hilarious.
The impact this show had on the world was remarkable. Kate was a pro. She knew that the money was in the original angels. Plus, the fact those three girls really had a tight bond together. A friendship that remains to this day. Cheryl Ladd was on far longer,but she will always be thought of as Farrah's replacement. Not fair but, reality. She deserves credit for doing it well, and having the guts to try.
MelodyMaker, I always felt that the second team had the best chemistry as well. Kris/Cheryl just fits better on the show, as a detective and with Kate, Jaclyn, and David. Love Kris with Bosley.
That's exactly it! So you seem well be aware that Kate had to go back to continue shooting that very scene after the interview. But instead you keep spreading your toxic accusations multiple times in this chat. Stop supporting backstabbers. And show some respect to the lady who invented this show!!
I think you see things here what you want to see, and not like they really are. This was only the third episode wich they shoot together, they relationship gone bad later. By the time of this interview Kate could really think that things are okay. Besides there's absolutelly no evidence of her so-called difficult nature on the set, it is only an interview, we don't see her filming here, just talking. (Pardon me my bad English, I'm not a native speaker)
She is quite engaging, even more attractive when she speaks. A bit bony but gorgeous skin & bone structure. Naturally pretty💁👩🦰 Good genes & very unique. I like her wordy answers. Class act
I was really with this woman when I was a kid. Farrah was more glamourous ( may she RIP )but not really my taste. Kate was different. Kate was hot and part of my imaginary stronger than any woman at the time.

Couldn’t agree more!! They were all gorgeous. But 5 of them were barbie or princess types. Kate wasn’t that type. Thank goodness. Sabrina was girl-next-door gorgeous. No glam needed. Just an outstanding natural and breathtaking beauty OMG!!!

PST19CC This is not true. Ladd only had problems with Kate. Read Charlie’s Angels Casebook, written by Jack Condon and foreworded by Jacklyn Smith. Ladd got along very well with Shelley and Tanya.
There are a lot of lies about Kate Jackson. "Thanks" to the tabloids and later on social media. One of the typical Ladd tactics. She talked to the media playing victim and the rag sheets spread the bs gossip. Cheryl had done some sneaky things to Kate. No wonder Kate Jackson kept her at arm’s length knowing Ladds tactics! This provides some insight: Quote IMDB: "Cheryl Ladd would clash with all the other angel actresses, except congenial Jaclyn Smith but only befriended her so as not to be found out. Kate Jackson already had worked with the diminutive blonde, and had seen her tactics at work. Ladd maintained a dalliance with one of the producers from the get-go, and joined forces with him to get Shelley Hack to leave the series, which she did. When Tanya Roberts was hired, Ladd regretted that move as Julie Rogers overtook Kris Munroe in looks, stature, bikini top size and screen-time."
Not everyone is good at kissing butt and Kate is likely one of them. Whereas Cheryl Ladd obviously had that way of pleasing people and making alliances. Early on in her career... Good points, DAR76sh!
@Romanov8181 Watching Charlie's Angels now,I have to say how good Cheryl Ladd was,it was a sham eFarrah left after season1 but Cheryl Ladd made her own mark. Kate Jackson was really missed,I liked Shelley Hack too but shje was dropped for the bikini wearing Tanya Roberts,shame,I liked Shelley.
Kate was the best. She made the show. Neither Jaclyn nor Cheryl were able to carry the show after Kate left. Donning a bikini is not enough. Takes real acting skills, leadership, beauty and charisma. Kate had it all.

I actually read that her ancestors were mainly English with some Scottish, Welsh and Irish, too. And for both, paternal and maternal parts, they almost all arrived in Virginia as early as around 1700 if not earlier. I found that very interesting.
Kate was the experienced actress when she started out on Charlie's Angels. She was a pro with high work ethics. One year later Cheryl came along, very inexperienced but behaving like a diva on the set. Kate and Cheryl had already worked together in 1973 on "Satans's School for Girls". Many years after Charlie's Angels Cheryl Ladd admitted that she had let success get to her head during her Charlie’s Angels years. LMAO!! No surprise. Cheryl, the cold vibe Angel.
Watch Cheryl's interview on Johnny Carson's in 1978. Cheryl did exactly the same. What were they supposed to say? They both couldn't jeopardize the show! We need Kate's perspective. The only time she talked about it was in the early 80s when she said something like ”Cheryl got me in a few ways” meaning Cheryl did some sneaky things to Kate, so it’s not all Kate being against Cheryl for no reasons.

Cheryl wasn't the warmest person according to quite a number of people who had encounters with her. She gives off a cold vibe as Kris and in her interviews. But the lady had alliances back in the day...such as a certain Mr. Lakso. Kate was always outspoken and a lot of people (including Lakso) couldn't handle the truth. Hence the badmouthing we see in some documentaries and on social media. What a bunch of cowards! Well, some have alliance and some stand up for what is right.
