Damn straight! His music has been a huge influence in my playing. Every now and then you can hear a little bit of Mike's influence through my playing. I play every kind of music and Mike's chops will definitely help players to sound more dynamic and even learn chords and scales that they normally wouldn't want to no matter what type of music they play.
So simple yet absolutely fuckin incredible it amazes me like wtf. I used to spend hours trying to write the most complex and near impossible riffs. Yet something so simply and comfortably played blows it away
I’m learning guitar because of Mike and have wanted to learn since I was 8, when i heard Anna Molly for the first time 🥺 honestly I wish to become an awesome guitarist like him 😭 thank you for being such an inspiration! Love u guys !
This is awesome. It'd be so cool if he did a couple more instructional videos like this. I dunno about anyone else, but I have trouble figuring out what he's playing sometimes, since his guitar effects seem to mush all the notes into a beautiful wave of sound.
Thanks Mike! Can you please give a tutorial on how to play Love Hurts? Been interested in learning this for awhile and can't seem to find the correct way to play it
Definitely would have liked for him to slow down on the chorus section and tell the fingers of those chords. I'm having to replay it over and over to get it right.
ernie ball music man guitars aren't really top of the line guitars. Its all in his hands. Mike could play that on any guitar and he could make it sound incredible.
i am just beginning to play guitar, and am in no way undermining mike einziger as being an amazing guitarist. however, i think anybody would sound to be a great player with eqiuptment that great. like i only know how to play a few chords at this point, but to pick up his guitar and play them would sound ten times better than my shitty guitar and amp.
This is an old comment, so I'm sure you've realized how remarkably wrong you were, but I just wanted to point out the fact that a great guitarist can sound amazing on the shittiest equipment, a shitty guitarist couldn't sound good on the best equipment. It's all the the quality of the guitarists skill. Good example here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gWPysY0Wis0.html
