Just because 80 - 90% of your act is about your personal life doesnt mean that you wrote it...those stories could be made up. That is the magic of a good writer. Take songwriting for example...most these female empowerment songs are written by men. How do they write from a female perspective so well? When you a good writer you can write anybody's story.

It’s true. Kevin Hart does have writers and many do check out small comedy clubs and steal comics routines - It’s a known practice and happens a lot with magicians too. Anywhoo, the writers usually rewrites the stolen material to fit into Kevin’s routine.

All comedians has different styles of comedy, Charlie Murphy was a story teller, People wrote for Richard Pryor and many other artist the same as some singers sing other peoples songs and some people use their songs and some people sample songs I wish that more artist would sample older artist music (with permission) because we had some great music that need to resurface.
