I don't think any fan cares about the look of the guardian cap. Yes, it's goofy looking but not enough to care much. Not too sure there's any technology that's going to save head trauma given just the "right" hit.

Guardian caps stand out because few players wear them. If every player was wearing one they wouldn't stand out anymore and despite being jarring for viewers at first we'd all adjust to the look of it. If safety is what matters padding the outside of the helmet is the biggest thing the league can do to increase safety. It's simple physics.

The offence is 100% Salah's responsibility. Every aspect of this team is his responsibility. You think Mike Tomlin or Kyle Shannahan look at the other side of the ball and say "not my concern". The real issue is they just keep promoting guys after a couple years in he league. They have zero clue how to build a culture and it was so blatantly obvious when Salah was hired he was out of his depth and should never have gotten the gig in the first place.

The change at head coach is going to make zero difference (maybe a game or so) because it is a cultural issue that is rooted from the top down. No coach since 2010 has had a winning record and the Jets have a .340 win percentage over that time. Different GM's, different coaches, different players, same owner.
