The version of Shipwrecked with that tranquil intro has always been one of my favourite songs. Even 14 years later, when I listen predominantly to metal, I go on RU-vid every now and again and listen. Takes me right back. Shame I cant find the version with the intro on Spotify

Yeah its a big thing so many songs not being on Spotify :( Depends on the artist, they’re the ones who need to upload it, or the distributor. And it gets all complicated legally so I’m assuming there’s a number of reasons why its not on there!

Mike Foyle was a piano god with the Trance tunes. I love his early work and his "Shipwrecked" especially. But "Love Theme Dusk" was another great melody on the piano. I feel your pain, but I'm glad to have the good music on my own, not depending on streaming services.

Just like the description of the song says : "The most gentle piano play you have ever heard" . Would love to hear that with smooth strings layered with the piano + less release on the strings and less attack on the piano and I would love to hear Firefly interpretation . Beautifull interpretation of a beautifull song .

That is correct! Since I'm all self-taught, I only grew up playing from the Am root notes but can adjust the root key using the transpose feature on most keyboards today, that's what I've done here too! I know its not the right way to play, but so far it works. I am learning to play in the natural root notes too though, that's taking a while however xD

came across your channel today,, i got suggested your MWPP covers and i absolutely adored them, dude . seeing your old set-up in comparison to the one you have now is some crazy inspiring progress . do you think you’ll ever go back to your screamo covers ? i liked them a lot .

Thank you brother! Super rare to see people who love MWPP (Also they just uploaded their music to Spotify so I'm extremely stoked to be listening to them again after so long!) And thank you, the new setup has been serving me so well, but there's still a little bit more progress to be made on that! As for the screamo / non-electronic covers, hell yes I absolutely will! I am thinking of creating a separate dedicated channel for upcoming covers actually, keeping this one mostly for trance and electronic. Also I have been considering re-doing a lot of the screamo / non-trance covers on the new channel with better quality and better sound. I myself am looking forward to that. Just need to sort out life a little so I can jump on it. Will send a link to the channel once its done :D

That's a good idea, I just might do that! Hahaha don't know about a collab, that WOULD be amazing though; Jack Sneff has been my midwest hero for a long while! I actually had him, Garret and Dwayne (From Merchant Ships) on Facebook ages back when I had a facebook! Will probably send him links via email now haha Thanks for listening to the electronic stuff! I grew up on this music and its a niche (Trance music at least) on youtube especially in the covers realm, so its something I'm trying to do more of lately :D Thank you so much for the love, super encouraging!
