The Yankees can give the METs a bag of balls and Neil Walker for Degrom. I've had enough of NY Met failure. However, in the interest of fairness, Torres can't be traded. I think Andujar, plus, plus, plus is fair. Plus = top of the line prospect not named Torres.

Come on man. That's embarrassing. No matter how bad things get, if you're a real Mets fan, you don't jump ship to the Yankees. Unless you just want to be like every other front runner, bandwagon fan. The Mets suck and have for most of the 35+ years I've been following them, it goes with the territory. You survive through the bad times so it makes the rare good times mean all that much more.

@DanNJ316 I understand your point, I've been a MET fan since 1973. Almost went crosstown in the early 90's when the METs were shooting bleach at reporters with water guns and losing 95 games. The real embarrassment is the Met ownership. Gonzalez instead Eric Hosmer, Bruce instead of JD Martinez, Vargas instead of Addison Reid and Fraizer instead Mike Moustakas. Always the C+/ B- player, rarely the A level free agent. It's window dressing 101 every single year. I've endured losing, I could endure losing, but the METs are unwatchable. Instead of looking to see how many runs they scored or if they won, we celebrate 3 hits. It's like going to a Dr. and the Dr. consistently perscribes bandaids for a migraine. When that is your reality for 35+ years, you seek a 2nd opinion. The New York Mets will not win a World Series as long as the Wilpons own the team and the WIlpons are NOT selling.

Transition to becoming a Yankee? My God can the Yankees be more of a bandwagon organization? I know far more Mets fans pulling for the Red Sox than the Yankees. Red Sox fans are passionate through and through. They don't just root for the team, when its good. Boston lives and breathes that team during the summer. It's all you hear people talk about up there. Yankees only get NY's undivided attention when they're playing well. Don't be a Yankee bandwagoner.
