@@ardie77 In retrospect in 2024, looking back on Terry Collins, he wasn't so bad. Granted he's not elite like Joe Torre or Bobby Cox, he's not even 2nd tier with guys like Buck Showalter or Dusty Baker...but when compared to the trash we had with Mickey Callaway and Luis Rojas, it's just a fact Terry Collins lead a mediocre 2015 team to one of 5 pennants in team history. And now we've went with Carlos Mendoza, another rookie manager for whom I don't have very high expectations (although he weathered the 0-5 start to this year pretty well and got the team back over .500). But I look back on Collins positively due to that pennant and the heart he showed with some of his ejections.

I dont bother watching the Mets anymore -not going to games at Citi, or supporting the Wilpons in any way. If the owners dont want to invest in the team, why should I invest in them? Be a true Met FAN? give me a break --if more fans were like me the Wilpons would have to sell --and then we might get a bigtime owner suitable for NYC-- schmucks--when's the NFL season start?-
