I’ve got a 93 mustang I’ve had since high school (about 25 yrs) my dad still has his 100 series that he’s owned for almost as long. My Tundra has been with me since 2011. Take care of what you have, it’ll pay you back and give you some great memories. These cars have souls too….

I love that Glover is a Porsche guy (and that he pronounces it "por-sha"). My dad used to have a '91 964 Targa and I loved it. He sold it for way too little money and bought a mid 00's 993.

love this video! Ive got a lifelong history with a particular FJ62. I was taken home from the hospital in it, i grew up being driven to hockey practice in it, i was given it as a teenager as a daily driver before i eventually started my own business working out of it. Eventually i wound up buying newer trucks but i have sill have ole Ernie and ive got some big plans for him!

Love this man, that car for me was my old 2002 Nissan Xterra SESC, I put a lift on it, nice 35” tires, regeared it, oversized fuel injectors, dual oil filter and oil cooler set up, external transmission filter, small pulley on the supercharger, headers back exhaust, cold air intake, rock sliders, and bed lined most of the interior. I got the thing perfect after forking put all the money I ever made from 16 to 21 then got cut off in a road rage incident and hit the cement barrier on the interstate at 70 mph. I’d do anything to get Oxanna back.

I'd love to do rally 911 build but I would prefer to have it based on the 997.2 or newer as long as I live in Las Vegas. The summer heat has been murder on former cars that I used for weekend track duty. I got a mk IV Supra turbo just before F&F made them too popular and they weren't that great for extended laps at the new track that was built in pahrump. The heat soak was brutal on the engine. No problems with my current car though 😉 Have you thought about a RWB style build for your 993? That's the way I'd go

Mike needs to subie swap the vanagons instead of going diesel. I have had 3 vanagons and miss the second one the most! They are awesome but sure wish I could afford to buy one now because the prices have skyrocketed to insane numbers for a standard 2wd vanagon!

Did you not get the HDJ100 Landcruiser in the US? It has the 4.2 straight 6 turbo Diesel engine (1HDFTE). Incredibly reliable, powerful and very popular and respected as touring (overland) vehicles here in Australia. Certainly more desirable than the 4.7 V8 on display here mainly due to fuel economy. Also, I believe the engine in his dual cab 74/79 is a 1HD-T not a 1HZ-T as Mile mentioned. Another very well respected engine here in Australia and one of the predecessors to the fantastic 1HDFTE I mentioned earlier

People on internet will tell you basically any Toyota engine is "bulletproof". The US spec 80 series is a heavy slow pig but that 4 coil suspension is sweet. the 80 series overseas are a little better but they are all getting long in the tooth. Personally I would lean toward the witts end turbo kit because engine swapping is a big headache.

70 series....the super reliable vehicle that people in the US can never bought brand new....but since 70 series still going into production,not an issue at all to buy 25 years old body vehicle with brand new everything you can change
