@15:45: That's pretty funny. They zoomed in on one of the guys screwing up. The guy making drag cuts with the miter saw was doing the drag cuts the wrong way; he obviously had no idea why you make that motion with a sliding miter saw. He was creating the tear-out that proper drag cuts prevent. No big deal for deck boards. Everybody's got to learn; thank goodness most of us get to learn without having cameras pointed at us. :)
Flat roofs are just problems waiting to happen. In this case it serves little purpose. It isn't worth the money plus the potential risk of future leaks. I would just eliminate it from the house design altogether.
