Here is a little add on to my original "Three Secret Blues Chords" Video. These cheeky little chords sound great!! If you haven't checked out my first video here it is • Mike Little's 3 Secret... Hope you enjoy :)
I have started your online course a month ago. Complete beginner in piano and organ. This is great, accessible and we can immediately have fun. Thanks Mike for what you do
I’m an old rec engineer from the the ‘70s and 80s and had the fortune of doing a lot of sessions with some great B players. While I’m not a keyboard player I do own a B. Love watching your simple but cool vids. Gimme some tips on the left hand stuff.
Maybe I should just take your course. Splitting the brain to keep the left hand and right hand isolated from each other is painful as you get older. It’s all about practice. Recording a good sounding Leslie was always a great moment. If the player brought his A-game, it all made it so much easier. Standard setup was one RE20 about 3 feet from the bottom louvres low passed at 1000Hz. Two Sony C37As for the top about 12” away. Normally I had baffles around a 4 foot area if it was part of the tracking date. 3 mics down to 2 tracks.
Shoot me an email at universeofkeys@gmail.com and I will get you a discount on the course. Lifetime membership gets you a free 1 hour lesson w me. Would love to meet and chat!! Especially about recording. I have been doing sessions for decades and it is my favourite topic :)
