Since I was a youth and after more then 20 years I'm still like a little kid discovering, healing, revelations, just amazing... I re:member, I was like 7-8 years old maybe, even before I knew that reggae genre exists, I selected reggae tunes from CD's with hits of the 70's,80's to enjoy. 💛 I got more education on actual life and values and culture from this music then in school or anywhere. I suffered really since I knew for myself probably and nobody was making sense in this crazy world with their culture and ways of life. Only sound thing was reggae, Rastafari and believe it or not my sister, I would probably be so lost I would kill myself without it, I'm really grateful... 💚 Jah Bless 🛐✡ ...and I really wish there were more parents like your father, Jah Bless his heart, really brought joy to mine... I agree with your first statement, but the only way he goes 'Beyond Marley' is by performing Reggae 30+ years beyond the year that Marley died. Now, I can agree with you if you meant that Mike is the first artist, since Marley, that has all the tools to take premium Reggae to an international spotlight again. Personally, it's been the only Reggae since Marley that truly moved me...but let's not make like he's better than Marley...got great equipment, he is a friggin BEAST with his effects boards, and he's a fantastic singer...HEAVILY INFLUENCED by Marley, for sure...as talented as Marley, I could get on board with that...Beyond Marley...not a chance.
