The amount of accountability he is taking for not having the defense ready and playing well is a breath of fresh air so many times I’ve seen coaches on other teams call out their own players and use the as scapegoats.

I know injuries are part of the game, but having your whole defensive line out is unheard of I fully believe if we were even at 90% we would’ve won that game

You can tell Mike is dialed in and is taking accountability, which will demonstrate leadership to the players and coaches. He probably has some military in his background somewhere (or has a passion for it, as we saw in off season TC day trip). Love Coach Mike #InMikeWeTrust

I’ve been excited about Mike MacDonald since it was announced and nothing has validated that feeling more than his personal accountability and his attitude towards the players.

I whole heartedly believe we have the coach we need. I love this guy!

Whenever Mike Macdonald talks about Kenneth Walker K9, its like you can almost start to see the sparkle in his eyes. His whole face lights up in excitement. He even remembers K9 from when he was at Michigan State. You can hear it in his voice, Mike Macdonald LOVES KENNETH WALKER. He is GLOWING whenever he speaks about K9. And K9 deserves all the love. That roll over the LB for a first yard, best play ive seen a RB make since I saw Chris Carson do a front flip in the air and land on his feet again (And Carson was a big RB not suppose to do that lol). They remind me of each other sooo much. Love that our HC has a MASSIVE amount of respect and love for the abilities of K9 and Charbs. He loves him some K9. GO HAWKS.

We have to be really patient as our head coach is arguably the best defensive coordinator in the NFL right now, but he’s taking on something that he’s never had to do before which is be a head coach with the responsibility of operating the defense his way with coaches that have barely Any time of learning his way so by the time year 2 and 3 Have come I’m sure we will be operating at the highest level possible

The Seahawks offense would be unstoppable if the Seahawks had an elite OL like the lions. Imagine Geno and K Walker playing behind the Detroit lions OL.

You are doing a great job as head coach! People will be with you when you win, and when you lose, they will often slander you. It comes with the job of leadership. However, know who you are, where you are headed, and work to get there. Being the head requires tough decisions sometimes. But ALWAYS do what is best for the team long term. This format doesn’t do any coach or fan justice. Can the reporter’s questions. Just have the coach in concert with someone he trusts do these kinds of interviews with fewer of them. An example of the continuous improvement mentality coach references... "obnoxious communication." Love adding obnoxious to emphasize what it feels like to over-communicate. Especially with Myles, Mike, Cam, other new D lineman in the line up, important language to get them to where they need to be as quickly as possible. Go Hawks!

Imagine losing 5 starters for the rest of season by week 6. Not worth it. Others have to fill in and step up and do their job and play like a starter, because you are when you play. That Michigan Tight end is a tank and size is unmatched amongst these smaller Linebackers and cornerbacks in the league right now. Capitalizing on mismatches is going to be key moving forward for the offense IMO.
