As long as the O line continues its mediocre play we will struggle against really good teams. We have to be dominant upfront on both sides of the ball, that will help us against the true big dogs in the conference.
Amen to that Chris Grier really hates oline despite the fact oline wins playoff games and the results are born out no playoff wins in 23 years and Grier has been with Miami 26 years.
Last year he said he would rely more on the run and not give up on it too quickly...and then in the 2nd half of the season he kept giving up on the run, called ridiculous pass plays on 3rd and short/4th and short even though mostert and achane were tearing through defenses. He even called out his own playcalling after the titans game only to repeat his mistakes the rest of the season. The wildcard game against the chiefs was especially humiliating to watch
Easy to judge while sitting on the couch. You never pointed out any positives. Like finally winning a challenge lol - in all seriousness it's not easy making big adjustments in game and I am sure they tried but when pressure is on you tend to go with things that usually work to give the team the best shot. I believe he's smart enough to make the proper adjustments in the offseason because he proved that with how well our run game improved from last year. You can't doubt that. His 3rd and 1 pass play calls are the only thing that really pissed me off as i'm sure with all of us. The Dallas game was a good example of such a great back and forth match on both sides of the ball. We also finally had a great game by Sanders and pulled it out.
I agree but also the OL was full of players who weren't on rosters to start the year. 31st pass block win % and collapsed in the middle. he lost faith in them rather than the line. we needed a beast for short yardage all our rbs are speedster who dont get 3rd and short. hopefully this year is better we need to run more no doubt 🙏
HE did run between ( when the line was healthy), he switched to more outside runs after the numerous injuries. DID YOU NOT WATCH THE GAMES?...you just trying to say things to try and sound smart.. smh...😂
They lost Rob Hunt and signed a center who's smaller and agile, not huge and physical. They aren't designed to win up the middle. The pitches and stretch plays are what they are built for
Give him some time. Mike is a good coach, well liked by players and coaches. Literally everyone lost to Patrick last year. Patrick pulled out a game once with 13 seconds! 😮
Y u on every miami page posting 24 7?????bills are gonna be 3rd in division u already on to rebuilding youre team . Just find it 😂that u troll all miami content just to look like a fool. 0 superbowls in history all youre recent playoff wins vs back up qbs just to get bounced next round. Dolphins improved every year and will be even better next year. You should worry about youre qbs holyywood side and ripping hist pants in paris 😂😂😂😂😂😂@@chetjablonski1993
Small qb, small receivers, small rbs, average oline. Not sure how they're gonna be a more physical team or more dominant in Dec/ Jan. At this point, we need to just stick with what we've been building and see how far it can take us with another year in the system. We aren't gonna all of a sudden be a totally different team.
definitely agree just wish would wake u from his sumber and get Miami a decentoline so Mike can start running the ball. With the crushing losses of Hunt and Connor Williams in 2024 Miamisoline is looking even weaker in 2023 than 2024. Mike McDanile wont be able to wn a playoff game until Chris Grier smartsensup and gets Miamisome oline studs.
You know I truly believe as a player play caller ect.ect... one gets better year to year and grow as a player or coach and McDaniel isn't any different I think he will will BALL throughout this season as yr 3 will he have some tuff games probably but I expect him to adjust in those games that are tuff because that's wher u earn your money in the NFL is adjusting that's somthen he seems to have trouble doing at times but he should clean it up and have a very very well oiled MACHINE this season GO PHINS
As an Atlanta native, who despises that Falcons organization, my biggest gripe with them is how they wasted Julio’s career. His greatness will be overshadowed by their ineptitude. His GREAT SB game won’t be remembered due to the loss
Nah. Broncos fan here. If you are a proper fan of the game you saw how great he was including that SB game. But you are right the Falcons wasted his great talent. He’ll be in the hall though.
Nothing will be different if anything we might actually miss the playoffs with Burrow Herbert Watson and now Aaron Rodgers all back from injury plus CJ stroud and now Russ with the steelers its gonna be very difficult for us to duplicate what we did last year plus Tua dont win big games including playoffs and cold weather i see us regressing this season
Dude, in second year has a head coach he made it into playoff. He not suppose to be winning has much as he has. Head Coach Andy Reid walk up to him and said I love watching your offensive. Wow! that high praise.
Grier let so many great Miami players leave as he was so tigh fisted. If Grier gave Christian Wilkins and Robert Hunt reasonable offers in 2022 they both would still be with Miami.
@@mandarinandthetenrings2201- he’s also 0-2 in the postseason. This year they won’t even make the playoffs and last year that team was stacked. I’m tired of the dolphins excuses…it’s almost as tiring as hearing the “But Justin Fields doesn’t have any help” whines
@@Chiefqueef-they won 11 games as the most injured team in the NFL. Vegas increased their expectations this year moving them from 9.5 as their win total last year to 10.5 this year. They are making the playoffs.
@@Chiefqueef- He not suppose to be in post season. The first year that head coach Jimmy Johnson was with the Dallas Cowboys his record was 1 -15 with the Dallas Cowboys. Jimmy Johnson second season was a disaster as well he went 7 - 9.
Bills wouldn’t have even had a chance for #2 seed if we didn’t lose to the titans by 1 point after one of their players intentionally targeted Hill and took him out of the game early with a nasty horsecollar tackle
He is a great coach Miami just needs an oline Miamis oline in 2023 was really bad now with loss of Hunt and Connor Williams oline is horrendous. Grier hates oline however you need a strong oline and run game to win in the cold which is why Miami hasnt won a playoff game in 23 years
@@vivM.5497yeah but Grier needs to go but sometimes I hate Mikes play calling and if he does it again he may go and Tua may stay with who I wanted Doug Pederson as HC he knows how to win a playoff game and make an offense.
