Haven't listened to Mike since he was a Stud. we're talking at least 8 years ago when I was a wild man college. Stumbled upon this album. It's easily been my most played album this summer. All positive vibes going your way Mike.
Mike's come a long way. Hes grown not just as a person but his music has evolved with him. Hes easily become one my favorites when I'm searching for that youth/clean/positive music! the guys a LEGEND! Lastly I just wanna shout out to my young kings out there. Get on your purpose and quit worrying about what other people think of you. Chase goals/vibes/money the ladies come later. Change the game and let them chase you!. Whoever that's reading this. I just discovered him and watched all the podcasts. The music has matured but the way he carries himself is OG shit and the way he dresses is lit af. It would seem like a minor thing to some, but the fact that he not only wears Hanes white over the calf tube socks almost daily but also intentionally wears them “upside down” with the red logos on the tops of his toes proves he’s a real one. (And the fact that they’re always filthy on the bottoms yet he shoves them in the camera while filming anyway proves he’s a real man lol.)

A person like Mike comes around in people’s lives not that often. He never switches up, Always consistent with his effort, and pushing for growth all around for himself and his team. As well, for us Steves, your music touches close to home for so many people. The new album of course is a great body of work but I went back through the catalog and then the new album to look for similarities and distance. The horizontal growth as a person and artist has brought us Steve. Steve is the energy, but Mike is the human. Thank you mike

In particular they would go in on him for wearing the short shorts and big white tube socks every day, and he would likely be pressured into literally changing his style to look like everyone else. He might not be the one who makes the decision, but if he were then offered a contract with a major label they would give him the ultimatum and make him.

This is one song I slept on, and listened sometime late November again and really vibes with it. Crazy how a song may not hit at the right time but having it soak a bit gave me a different view. The end reminds me a lot of Waves by Mr. probz. Wonder if there was some influence on that part from waves?
