I've been watching perry vids this morning, didn't know him prior to the jake paul fight. Idk why people thought he would do well against paul or any other pure boxer. He's got the cajones obviously but his fundamentals revolve around everything that bareknuckle and gloved boxing don't have in common. This guy boxes like if shawn porter had no jab and porter already gets hit a lot.

This "animal" stepped into a boxing ring using heavy boxing gloves against a younger, stronger and faster guy that only trains in boxing. Of course he lost. I swear y'all think any sort of combat sport can translate to another. News for you, they CAN'T. Not unless said fighter trains specifically for the other sport. Jake is a boxer only. Mike is an MMA bare knuckle. Get over it

It’s crazy how this guy fights like this but couldn’t show that with his fight with Jake Paul and gets knocked out by him? This just shows you Jake pays all his opponents to lose.

Jake doesn't pay. Mike isn't a boxer. He's not used to using heavy boxing gloves. He's an MMA fighter who fights bare knuckle who faced a larger, faster, younger boxer. Of course he lost

What's point of going in or even having the fight arranged if this is how it would be. His other fights he went in on every opponent. Because he's not used to using heavy boxing gloves. Also Paul is younger, faster and bigger. Paul also trains for boxing specifically. Mike is an MMA guy who fights bare knuckle.

Perry has a chance to easily beat paul if its 8oz gloves. but... because this is Jake Paul. its going to be heavy padded gloves and so it will be a glorified sparring match. Perry will never get a chance to properly hurt paul because of the larger gloves and Paul will win by out boxing him on points

I dnt know how many fist fights yall have been in but boxing gloves made it worse for me. A straight punch no gloves!! cool. I can take the cuts or whatever but there was something for me about them gloves that just jarred my head a little different. So Mike needs to be careful. Bare knuckles is much more Primal.Boxing and that padding just felt different to me. I’ve been in wars with dudes in a fucking cell. So I know what it’s like to actually have your life on the line from the dude you’re fighting or your head hitting the corner of a steal bunk bed. Then I put on gloves and the punches were different and maybe that’s because the same fear wasn’t there. It just felt different. If you agree or disagree let me know.

Bare knuckles seems to do more damage on the surface level(well more than boxing gloves do anyways) while gloves rattle the shit out of your brain and the constant jarring probably isnt good on your neck either😂
