It was like 15 pounds at most and they’re very similar in height, Jake has a much bulkier frame than the mma guys which makes it look worse but there’s not that much of a difference, it’s fact not opinion

Mike stood too tall, little head movement, flat footed, hands down, chased instead of cutting off Paul, etc. Mike did pretty much everything you’re not supposed to do and still made it 6 rounds.

200+ is heavyweight in Boxing. Jake weighed in at 200 while Perry was about 196. Size difference for sure, cutting to 200 vs not making 200 but the skill difference was the issue not the weight. If anything, the size difference between Jake vs Nate was more pronounced and he made it all 10 rounds.

Jake definitely was bigger and the weight difference was bigger vs nate then perry, but nate is a much more seasoned brawler and is an actual legend compared to Mike Perry where Mike loss and never made it to a title in the UFC vs Nate who has won titles and beat many prime fighters and never been knocked for 99 percent of his whole career. Nate was the more challenging fight and put up more, but Mike although is very tough and has alot of heart, also wouldn't last against Nate either, people should have known this from the start but casual fans just don't look into shit but what the media throws out. This was an L for Mike before he signed the contract, it's just Mike fell for the trap.

Tbh this was just more of the same from Jake. Mike Perry fought at 170 in mma and 175 in bare knuckle. Jake came into this fight at 230 while Mike was clearly under 200. So again Jake Paul beats up on a guy MULTIPLE weight classes smaller than him with no background in pure boxing. Dude needs to stop acting like he’s a serious boxer. He fought one guy that’s a pure boxer in Tommy fury and he lost and Tommy doesn’t even take boxing seriously. I really wish people would stop calling this a fight, it was a boxing match, completely different to a fight. In a straight up fight, Perry wins all day every day. This was boxing, with limiting rules.
Perry fought this match like a BKFC fighter and not like a boxer and Paul exploited that, didn't have his hands up, chin up in the open, no head movement, standing straight up an down, no mobility from perry, Paul told him he was gonna catch him with his hands down and he did exactly that. Hell if you put this same fight in a BKF ring instead, I think this fight perry would win 1000%

Paul is always open for straights down the pipe yet these guys never walk him down, always circling into his looping hooks and over right hands. Hard to watch
They don't even do basic boxing stances correctly. Even Tommy Fury, who is a novice boxer, would be side on so you can ride the overhand or the straight shots or easily sway the looping shots the mma fighters are so squared up it actually hurts
