While at a benefit clinic for an injured farrier a few months back, I asked Mike Poe if he would build a draft horse shoe with me and he said yes. So I asked Brandon Davis to turn on my camera to record it, so thank you to both Mike and Brandon for the help! We were getting ready for the World Championship Blacksmiths Classic competition at the time and since Mike was a previous WCB Team member, he has lots of experience with these shoes and this is the system and method he would go about building an Ag-Heel Draft Shoe. I hope this video helps some of you that are learning to make draft shoes or you just find it entertaining to watch shoes be built!
